Great company to deal with
Trupanion is a great company to deal with. They are helpful and prompt at processing a claim. The only fault I found with them is when I initially signed my dog up I was told the amount I would be paying per month. I thought that was a permanent thing and was not informed until my payment went up that it could fluctuate. That I did not like.

Great pet insurance company
I have been with Trupanion for many years. They have been very reasonable with rate increase and it is not depends on how old your pet is and how many claim you submitted. Their pet policy is reasonable and claim processing is very fast. My Vet has a direct link with them and within minutes our claim and payment was processed. Highly recommend if you care about the health of your Pet.

What a relief to have pet medical insurance
My husband is disabled and we live on a fixed income. Keeping his service dog healthy is critical to both of their well being and having Natiowide Pet Insurance has repeatedly been a great blessing. Although we must pay up front for vet services, and there is a $250 deductible, it is so worth it to get all of Hawkeye's wellness taken care of each year, and then to know we can afford to have his teeth cleaned or have other emergency vet services covered 80% if we need them. Nationwide pays promptly, and is helpful and easy to communicate with whenever we have questions or need help. We highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance for peace of mind and great service.

After a lot of research this is the best insurance
Nationwide is the best pet insurance out there. My Vet had recommended National to me, but I still wanted to do a lot of research and chose National. I did not make a mistake they are great!! Payments are quick and always correct, no questions on my part Nationwide is very clear on reimbursement!

Great coverage, but response time of claim was slower than expected.
Sasha got bit by a copperhead and needed to be treated. She got bit on the tongue and was drooling and bleeding. We had to take her to an emergency vet clinic due to the late hour of the bite. She stayed overnight and was treated. The total claim was about $1000. The insurance paid 90% after the annual deductible, but it took several weeks to get reimbursed.

BEST INSURANCE!
Excellent insurance to have for your pets. I’ve have Trupanion for both of my dogs and they have covered my claims at 90% after my deductbile was paid. They are also very quick to send out the payment. I love Trupanion.

Excellent coverage and speedy response
I prefer submitting my claims by US mail and I get a quick acknowledgment that you’ve received it. Three plus weeks to receive reimbursement may seem a long time to most but I don’t use electronic funds transfers and the time it takes a check to reach me is quite satisfactory.
