Love the Help Line
I recently called the Vet Help Line for a snake bite incident. As always, they are a great help and are able to keep me calm in an emergency situation. And they always follow-up afterwards. The turn around time on claims seems to be getting longer and longer. That is my only complaint.

So glad i was insured with Nationwide Pet Insurance
My dog recently needed emergency vet care due to extreme pain in his neck. The vet bill including an MRI and pain management ended up costing over $5000. My vet submitted the required paperwork directly to Nationwide and within a month I had a check for the expected amount based on my policy direct deposited into my bank account. I am so relieved I can count on Nationwide to respond quickly and with no 'red tape' to my claims. This was the first claim I have submitted and it was totally painless and I gladly renewed my coverage for another year!

Trupanion Saved my dogs life!
Trupanion saved my dogs life because they allowed me to have the finances to pay for my dogs’ tests, x rays, hospital stay and surgeries. They also kept me out of debt or having to say no don’t do that procedure it is too expensive! I am so lucky to have dog insurance, I now have it on my brother’s 2 year old dog too! Highly Recommend them! I am do thankful and fortunate to have Trupanion pet insurance for my dog Zeus! It was the smartest thing to do for me, my family and him. It allowed us to make expensive medical decisions for the dog easy. Since I had Trupanion I knew I could do what we needed to be done by the doctors to try to save Zeus! This was a very stressful time for me! Trupanion made it a lot easier on me! There hotline was excellent, everyone was so nice and helpful. They were extremely quick with setting up the claims process and paying it out (within 2 weeks for a first claim! The hospital did have the express system!) This could have been a very hard process but it was so easy because of them. Trupanion saved my dogs life because they allowed me to have the finances to pay for my dogs’ tests, x rays, hospital stay and surgeries. Highly recommend them! Zeus digested a foreign body and it entered his intestines. Thankfully, I had Trupanion pet insurance!!! I was able to get x-rays, blood work, IVs, sonograms and many more tests done on him, plus the stay at the hospital was covered 90%. Having this allowed me to have financial freedom and make decisions from the heart vs about the money! I was able to approve the payment of the tests and surgery that the doctors needed to do to save my dogs life. They paid a $7,000 claim!

Affordable prices, excellent coverage, and BEST customer service
This is by far the best health insurance I have ever encountered for my 4 legged son! I was referred to Healthy Paws by my sister in law. I did compare prices and coverage from other insurance companies, but I ended up right back to Healthy Paws! Their prices were extremely affordable and offered excellent coverage. Every claim I have had to submit (and unfortunately, there have been quite a few), have been processed within a few short days and reimbursement is in my account shortly after that. They are extremely clear on what they don't cover (which is no different than what other insurance companies do not cover). So just to summarize, claims are easy and stress free to submit, they are very affordable, and they're customer service is the best part about them.

This company is very through and helpful. Very patient with me about the concerns concerning my pet. Very efficient in knowing how to handle all the necessary information with getting the claim process completed. Very happy I went with this company. They all seem to be caring animal lovers. I have recomended this company to family and friends who have pets.

Trupanion has been incredibly easy to work with. Everyone has had such compassion for our injured dog. I can’t say anything bad about this company. They have been terrific! No questions on coverage, they’ve been doing direct pay with my vet. Makes it so much easier!

Healthy Paws helped us so much when my dog Poppy got the terrible diagnosis of cancer. They not only honored all payments or reimbursements promptly, but they also made a point to send her a get well card hand signed by all staff members personally. They even kept in touch to find out how Poppy was doing after surgery. I had never expected my dog to get such a devastating diagnosis to begin with, but I can say honestly that Healthy Paws treated us with such a personal kindness, thoughtfulness, and professional courtesy that lessened the stress and pain of this ordeal.
