Smooth and easy process
I needed to submit an invoice with my claim and did so, but got an email the next day saying I still needed to submit an invoice. It was a little perplexing, but I sent the invoice a second time and it seemed to work. Not sure if there was a glitch? Other than that, very smooth and easy process.

Paid the claim quickly
My cat Mittens got very sick late in the night. I took her to the emergency animal hospital. Pets Best paid the claim quickly. It turns out after x-rays and blood tests it was pneumonia. When I brought mittens home the 24hr vet chat from the app was amazing. I used the help line at 3am. It really helped a lot because my regular vet was definitely not open then.

Best insurance for my dog!
Great program, super easy to use with their app, and awesome customer service. All I have to do is submit photos of my itemized vet receipts through the Healthy Paws app to get reimbursed! They have options to get reimbursed by check or direct deposit and they provide updates throughout the claim process for you. I’ve submitred dozens of claims over the past 6 or so years for my dog who has multiple issues and I’ve always been pleased with Healthy Paws!

Unexpectedly great service
I have a fairly low opinion of insurance companies, mostly because of human insurance and how they seem to do everything they can to avoid paying claims, and making life difficult for doctors and patients in order to lower payments or have people give up getting paid altogether. And (before the ACA), insurers would nit pick everything in your application to hunt for supposedly pre-existing conditions or any other excuse to avoid paying the claims. So, when I made my first claim(s) with Embrace after being an insured for several years, I was expecting the worse. Instead, the claims were accepted without any hassle whatsoever. I was stunned and very pleased, especially given that a large sum of money was involved!
