Gives Insurance Companies a Bad Name

We lost our almost 19 year old dog last week. We had originally been insured with PC Insurance, but unfortunately, Pets Plus Us took them over. The invoice included "Cold Storage/Handling" and "Cremation Scatter Box < 7 kg". They would not pay for anything...and had a representative quote about deductibles and coverages,....but if it had been cremation, the claim would have been eligible for 100 dollars. Well, boys and girls, I have been insurance all my life and never ran into a supposed adjuster/underwriter that could not read. What an atrocious way to handle a claim, especially when you have been incapable of reading the invoice! This is not the only time I have had to fight with these people. If you are insured with them, read your coverages carefully and stand up for your rights.

Terrible Company Customer service is horrible, No return calls or answering of emails

I should have done my research. The puppy came with six weeks insurance. I continued the insurance. Customer service is friendly but totally useless. No replies to emails, no return phone calls. On the website it says will advise claims stats in one to three days. What a joke. I call the customer service to speak to a manager...put on hold for ten mins. They are all in a meeting....horrible...you are basically paying premiums and receive a magazine and no customer service or coverage. So disappointed in this company. Buyer beware.
