Ashley was very nice but it was a bit frustrating because she wouldn't directly answer my question about coverage. I asked her if my dog would be covered for the removal of a skin tag (it was not pre-existing and I've had my policy for 12 years and have never filed a claim). She said 'Well, it looks like it would be covered but I can't really say or I would really make some people unhappy." What does that mean?! I mean, I am deciding whether or not to schedule the surgery and I want to know if it would be covered before I do. Super weird response. She seemed sweet and all but I've been a loyal, paying customer (and former employee) for 12 years and have never filed a claim. Sheesh.

Really Good Pet Insurance
I have had 2 policies for my dogs for a couple of years now. It was one of my best decisions, and I wish I had known about it before. Very responsive to claims and good communication. My only wish was not having to fax in the claim forms. It would be nice to have a way to submit claims electronically via the website.

The ease of dealing with ASACP is wonderful
After checking many companies for insurance, I decided on ASAPC as they had everything I needed for my Abby. My 3 insurance claims were handled swiftly and the staff were absolutely wonderful to deal with. I would give ASAPC the most stars possible on any review.

Nationwide has helped me a ton with my dogs (Nero) medical bills. I would recommend anyone to them and i would also get insurance early when your dog is young. Thanks!

Easy Claims Processing
We were on the fence about getting health insurance when we got a new puppy, but am so glad we did and that we used Healthy Paws. Our 4 month old Frenchie broke his kneecap while jumping around, which required surgery and a month-long recovery with multiple check-ups. $6,000 later, I was ready for a fight to get all of my claims approved and processed, but Healthy Paws couldn't have been easier. After taking pictures of each of the invoices through the mobile app and having the hospital send records to Healthy Paws, my claim was approved within ~2 weeks and they mailed me a check shortly thereafter. I'd definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone getting a dog.

Great coverage and service for our puppy when we needed it
I've been really happy with Healthy Paws' coverage for our lab-pit mix. Last December, he tore his right cranial cruciate ligament (like a human's ACL) and tore the meniscus, so he needed surgery costing more than $3,300. After I submitted the claim, Healthy Paws asked for the medical records from our primary care vet and the surgeon, and within a couple weeks they completed the claim processing, and paid 90 percent after payment of our deductible. Their website made it easy to track the claims, but it was really easy to call them up and speak with one of their claims processing staff members. I can't say enough good about Healthy Paws: coverage of major, unexpected issues is what pet insurance is all about, and they do it right.
