Dealing with our dog's sickness the past year & eventual death was difficult but we never had any issues with our claims. Everything was easy, straightforward & responsive & we appreciate the ease with which the policy was cancelled after Atticus died. Thank you so much. We will definitely use Pets Best again in the future if we get another pet. Thank you.

The few times I have spoken with a representative on the phone they have been friendly and professional and answered questions to my satisfaction. While I have always loved TruPanion for nearly a decade, a recent change in policy from an original policy did NOT grandfather, or otherwise provide guidance or assistance with my baby’s treatment needs. However shortsighted, I feel strongly that this decision to “change the rules” mid-way through her course of treatment is not only unfair to her, but also a bit unethical, & this saddens me greatly. Your company has been nothing but stellar up to this point for my 3 kitties, but now my Amelia is in an advanced stage of illness, & she no longer can receive laser therapy, (which was originally covered, & now isn’t), which will tremendously affect her ‘quality of life,’ and I ask: Why? It’s not about me, but about her final weeks, and I did nothing wrong, but yet, she will suffer, all because there’s no ability for compromise, & a bizarre business model change. The future is in treatment using laser, not giving more drugs for pain and rehab. To demand additional monies for something that we, as mere humans, would expect to receive if we were injured or severely arthritic, is seemingly quite cold. Indeed, I offered to pay additional monies for the new “benefit” she had already been receiving for nearly a year, but unfortunately because she has already had laser, she now is disqualified as it’s considered ‘pre-existing’ - sad TruPanion - a business as stellar as yours cannot offer a win-win somehow for all of us that have found ourselves in this proverbial “boat?” Surely there is something that we can do to help my girl. She has Lymphoma, but stabilized & a happy kitty, but the osteoarthritis will ultimately be her demise soon, as she cannot walk & play w/o her laser therapy. I simply don’t understand & I grieve for Amelia & the “others” like myself, who’ve found themselves w/o mercy or any possibilities of hope. Thank you for your time with this matter - it matters to me..
