Matt showed empathy and compassion. Trupanion has been amazing and a good friend to JJ for the past 8 years. Every time we've needed trupanion the staff had been right there to comfort and look after us. I recommend trupanion to everyone I know. Not only for peace of mind but when your faced with a situation you are not financially prepared for trupanion makes sure you can properly care for your furry loved ones. JJ is my baby and without trupanion I could not afford to give JJ the care he needs. We are facing a major surgery early next week and Matt gave me the comfort I needed to know we will get through this. I can not thank Matt and trupanion enough. JJ is my furry child and his well being and comfort are the most important thing in the world to me. With all our hearts thank you.

Great customer service. I sent email to wrong department and Renee helped me forward it to the correct one. She also recommended me how to use the tool to make it faster next time. Trupanion representatives are always nice, friendly, and very helpful. Easy process on claims and reimbursement.

I think Trupanion has great policies with regard to insuring your pet such as selecting the best sliding scale of rates vs. deductibles and for counting a particular condition as meeting the deductible for life of the pet as opposed to annually. I also had an awesome conversation with the rep Megan who was simply delightful to speak with. In short, I’m very happy I selected Trupanion to insure my dog.

Trupanion has always been there for us.
Trupanion has always been there for us. Having them to fall back on is priceless when you are in the middle of dealing with an emergency situation with your pet and the looming questions of “how am I going to pay for this” pops up. Great company. Great, down to earth people. Incredibly easy to deal with.

My only complaint thus far is that you do not cover the consultation that we have to have with the specialist we needed to see for our dogs heart problem.
My only complaint thus far is that you do not cover the consultation that we have to have with the specialist we needed to see for our dogs heart problem. You cover the x-rays, MRI, but not for the time that the doctor needed to explain what they found in the x-rays and MRI's and how to treat it. The X-rays and MRI are useless to us unless explained. This is part of the same illness, not an additional problem. We would not understand what they had found without a consultation.

I have recommended this company to several friends.
I have recommended this company to several friends. I have always been satisfied with their service and, with my dogs health issues, I have been able to go the whole distance to keep her alive. She has diabetes, had her gallbladder removed, and, most recently, had a brain tumor removed. I think most people would have given up on her a long time ago but this insurance has made it affordable to get the services needed to keep her with me.
