Peace of mind!
When my cat, Misty, recently started whining and shaking out of the blue, I called Nationwide's vethelpline right away (it was getting late on a Friday night). They suggested taking her in to see a vet, and we finally found one still open. She looked really bad! The vet did their thing and diagnosed her with some stomach distress, gave her medicine for the pain, and we got to go home. Misty recovered pretty quickly, thank goodness! Without access to the great advice at vethelpline, we may have waited longer and then had a longer recovery process. When it came time to submit the claim, the process couldn't have been easier! Send in the receipt -> sign up for direct deposit -> authorize refund -> done! I'm incredibly happy with Nationwide's service so far, and peace of mind means so much when it comes to your fur baby!

Delivers as promised but sometimes take a little long.
Nationwide delivers their reimbursements as defined in their contracts. I have no complaints at all. I only wish that the claims were at least looked at sooner. I had a claim not even looked at for a month and then told information was missing to process. This added another month to processing. If at least a review of missing information is done maybe within a week would be nice. Other than that I am perfectly happy. I think I have learned to submit my claims direct to Nationwide and not use the VitusVet app.

Excellent
Nationwide has been the best insurance provider I have ever experienced. They have never questioned a claim that I have submitted. They have followed up to see how my dog is doing. They reimburse you in a timely manner. Submitting a claim is so easy and I have recently set up direct deposit which has made it even easier to be reimbursed. I tell all of my friends and family and any other pet owners I run into about my amazing experience with Nationwide. I recommend them with no reservations.

Healthy Paws Beats All Other Pet Insurances
My 15 dog JJ has had 2 operations and 1 stroke in the past year and I would not have been able to take him to my vet and a speciality animal hospital if not for Healthy Paws and their level of reimbursement. Healthy Paws reimburses quickly and are easy to talk to on the phone. I really feel that they care about my JJ and I know he would be a little sick guy if not for Healthy Paws.

Great coverage and caring employees
I can't speak highly enough about Healthy Paws. I got a Havanese puppy at 8 weeks old and insured him with them after a lot of research. Thank goodness I chose them. At 9 months my little guy had two adult teeth stuck underneath impacted bone. We had to pay $2k for a dentist to drill the bone away from his teeth and I was certain no insurance would cover dental work and if they did I thought his case would be excluded , but they actually covered it! And then, about 2 weeks later they actually emailed me to follow up and see how he was feeling which I thought was super sweet. And the email did not read as if it was auto-generated, so it was nice to see they actually care. Id give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Really poor service
Very, very disappointed in ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. They've made me wait over 2 months to process a claim and I'm still waiting. I've had to call them twice as my claim kept changing status into "needing information". When I called them, they had contacted the wrong veterinarian. I'm feeling pretty ripped off, as they've been happily taking my money for 3 months. Also, there's no way to cancel the policy online, which means they're taking even more of my money until I can get in contact with them again. I'm surprised that other reviews have been so positive, because my experience has been terrible.

The Cost Of Wellness
I was happy with my insurance coverage for 2018. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for the fact that the cost of Wellness increased by at least 20% for the 2019 renewal. It made the cost of insurance not worth the benefit of having wellness so I dropped the wellness for my renewal. I also couldn't get a definitive answer on aqua therapy coverage for treatment of my dog's torn cruciate ligament. This was the determining factor of whether I was going to renew my policy. I also come to find out that rules for physical therapies will be changing in January. A veterinarian must be on the premises or treatment will not be covered. I am not confident I will renew my policy for 2020.

I am extremely happy with the timeliness of response from Nationwide. They are very fair in terms of covering claims and take the time to fully explain each and every claim response. I am very happy with them and highly recommend them. No pet owner should be without insurance.

I'm glad that I have this Pet Insurance.
I am very happy with Nationwide pet insurance. It is a well known plan and accepted everywhere. My pet gets his regular visits and then some covered. It is worth the nominal fee that I pay monthly and I have peace of mind knowing that it's there if I need it.

Overjoyed to have pet insurance
I am truly happy that I have Nationwide Per Insurance. It has definitely made health decisions easier. My main issue is that it takes the full 30 days to process claims.
