I expect an insurance company to perform better than a reimbursement plan... And, I am happy to say that Trupanion processed payment soo quickly that it was more like waiting for an online payment than the long processing periods that are typical with insurance companies. Direct deposit is available. And they even offer an option for preference to payment to the service provider. Way to Go!!! Trupanion.

We have been a customer of Trupanion for many years, they have made it financially possible for us to care for our Lab who has serious allergies. He has required MUCH veterinary care and so many medications over this time. Trupanion has been a dream to work with - responsive, fair, extremely easy to work with, reliable and so supportive. If ever I have a question, during my communication with the representative, I always find myself expressing what wonderful people work for their company. Seriously, every one of them is so nice and a pleasure to speak with - you can tell they love working for this company and that says a lot about the organization. This company is stellar in EVERY way and I feel blessed having them on this journey with us - caring for our fragile fur baby.

Mischievous Labrador
We are sincerely grateful to Trupanion for covering our mischievous Lab’s recent surgeries (2) and hospitalization for a bowel obstruction/bowel perforation. We are so thankful that we purchased Trupanion insurance for our dogs. We would not have been able to afford to save our dog without the insurance from Trupanion. The hospital bills were over $20,000 to treat the bowel obstruction/perforation. As promised, Trupanion covered 90% of the eligible costs after we paid the deductible. Trupanion works exactly as promised and it is simple to submit a claim. Grateful customer and Lab Mom

User-friendly and great products
I've had a great experience so far with ASPCA Pet Insurance. Their web portal is great and easy to make claims or look up your policy. I've always had very helpful customer service representatives when ever I called. They also have a decent claim review turn time and they don't make you wait for payment.
