Amazing company
Every contact I have with Healthypaws is amazing. I have 2 large breed dogs insured by them and sign their praises to anyone who will listen. One of our dogs recently had to have a major surgery (over $4000) and healthypaws customer service did everything they could to ensure that it went smoothly and even worked out a direct pay with the veterinarian so we didn't have to come out of pocket for the majority of the cost. That is major when you are unexpectedly hit with a $4000 bill. They have checked in our pup since surgery as well. I refer them to all the pawrents I know.

You MUST have Trupanion
When you sign up for pet insurance, it is easy to think, "well, we'll see if this is worth it." There is nothing more reassuring than getting through your first Trupanion Claim and realizing how easy it was, how caring the staff are, and how quickly they dispense the funds needed to pay for the treatments. I expected a much more complicated and confusing process, where I would be surprised by what wouldn't be covered and receive much less toward the care. I was mistaken. This is an honest company that does what it says it will do, and isn't trying to take advantage. I'm so grateful that I never had to think, "but what if I can't afford to save my dog's life?" Thank you Trupanion.

Very good service!! Little Bit requires Proin 25 mg 3 times a day for incontinence!! Insurance covers after $100 deductible!!

Slow & steady wins the race
We had two claims for Dora and received a request for more information. Right after I submitted the information I received notice that they still needed it. However, someone found it and followed up that Dora's claim was still open and being reviewed. It took a few months but once all the information was in we got our letters of coverage and it's working out well.
