I have been with Pets Best since my dog was a puppy — he is now 5 years old. We’ve had a few emergency visits and several large vet bills, mainly related to oral health, and 99% of my claims were not covered. I continued giving the benefit of the doubt that future claims would be approved, but my most recent claim — roughly $2,000 for oral surgery — was also denied. This will be my last month with Pets Best. I would not recommend this insurance to anyone, as my experience has been extremely disappointing and the coverage has not met expectations. I will be looking into other providers.
THE ONLY insurance company that is straight forward
My family has a lot of pet cats and it can be overwhelming when worrying about their care. I searched all over for the best pet insurance I can find and truly pets best is THE BEST! The sign up process is simple with no gimmicks or trying to over sell you anything. They communicate as needed and transparent with pricing. The claims process is also very smooth and simple. Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. Hardly cover any expenses. The one time I filed for reimbursement they took months and ended up not responding to my follow ups. Not worth a single dollar, do yourself and your pets a favor and find another insurance. Embrace is not what it used to be.

Super Easy Process
First time filing a claim. The process using the app was very easy. Instructions were clear what was required and uploading the receipts was seamless. Acknowledgement email was sent immediately when submitted claim on 7/5 and I received a detailed EOB on 7/14. No issues. Thanks Pets Best!

We are so happy that we have Figo Pet Insurance!!! You have so much more control of what coverages you want-more than any other pet insurance we have used. The claim submission process is super easy to use and claims are reviewed quickly and fully and Figo reaches out directly to our Vet if more information is needed without us having to do any additional work. The claims are processed quickly and refunds are sent immediately after the claim is closed. We highly recommend Figo Pet Insurance!!!!

Over the years since joining Trupanion, when I needed them the most they have came through. The ease of submitting claims either through the vet or online through the portal has been smooth. The timing is always quick with a decision and gives me a peace of mind.
