It seemed to me that these were a cut and dry couple of claims and I was surprised at the time it took to process. Once processed I was assured it made since to have the insurance.

A Great Experience.
This was my first claim after having the policy for 9 years. It was such a great experience working with Trupanion on all of this. The pre-approval process was quick and eased my mind. The claim was paid directly to the Vet which was awesome. The Animal Hospital raved about Trupanion as well.

Good but a little surprised at coverage
The vets office submitted the claim. That went great, however when I purchased this policy I did not realize that you don’t cover the exam fee

Never been reimbursed the vets or at least the ones I’ve been to would bill them directly my regular one doesn’t and the emergancy vet I had to go to didn’t.
Never been reimbursed, the vets or at least the ones I’ve been to would bill them directly, my regular one doesn’t, and the emergancy vet I had to go to didn’t. I don’t know about others. So I had to pay out of pocket and wait for a reimbursement. It was a very large Bill, and quite a hit during the holidays. However, when I called to get reimbursement paperwork sent to me, which could take 3-4 weeks because of covid, I was so impressed with KATIE on the phone and her compassion, she was so sweet and helpful and she used my dogs name. I thought that was a special touch.
