The MetLife policy is new to me this year. So far they have been excellent with the claims that I have submitted.

Quota are easy…coverage isn’t
Submitting a quote is pretty straightforward and easy, and they do tend to send reimbursements promptly. I’ve recently had a series of claim submitted due to “pre-existing conditions”. To me this is outrageous, deemed illegal for humans, and inhumane. I don’t know if all pet insurances do this, but for this reason, I would not recommend MetLife.

First time using Spot
First time using Spot, and I'm pleased by the response. Filing online was easy, and form upload was very straightforward. The claim took 2-3 weeks to process, and I received email notification that the claim had been approved and that a check was in the mail. (Yes, a real, paper check.) After paying the deductible, my cat's ER visit was less than $200. Here's hoping I won't need it again, but cats ARE cats.

The insurance is made to do exactly what is meant. Having this insurance really helped when Dior unexpectedly got sick. I'm so glad I purchased it because it allowed me to not feel stress over getting her the help she needs.
