Faster than promised. Seems like a good choice with a more established company. So far, so good!

Good help
When my pet policy renewal doubled in price, I called Embrace to cancel. Clementine heard me out, found a rate more in line with what we are paying now and voila! I renewed. 5 stars to Clementine in customer service.

rip off after you join and renew
if you are looking for pet insurance, I would suggest shopping around elsewhere!! this company starts you off ok but then jumping up your payments left and right for no cause!! I hardly ever make a claim!! but for the past 3 years they have jacked up my rates every year more than 50.00 per month!! Now to the point I am forced to just make as many claims as I can to make it worth having them for coverage!! When I asked them about them keep raising my rates so much and often!! I get the some ole same ole!! oh it is due to cost and amount of claims!! that is BS!! when some like me don't even hardly make claims!! So No in my opinion you can find a better and cheaper company for your baby's coverage! I have checked for the same coverage I can get it much cheaper than what they are charging me now!! but I can't switch and that is how this company gets you because they know you will not be able to change if you have any pre-existing issues even like arthritis!!

What a pain in the butt to cancel
What a pain in the butt to cancel. So easy to sign up, hoops to cancel. My wife and I bought pet insurance for our dog and decided to cancel after a few months. Buy on line. Sure, they make it easy to take your money. Cancel, whoa, hold on there. You have to call in order to get convinced you’re making a mistake. The account is in my wife’s name, so we have to make sure the husband isn’t scamming, so he can’t do it. I’m glad I found out their tactics before I needed them.

Terrible
Terrible. Don’t be fooled with Costco discount and low monthly pay. Their response times and pay out times take weeks. They ask for too many documents that other insurance don’t. Adjusters find loopholes not to pay you the 80% they promised during policy signing.

Pets Best Looks for Excuses NOT to Pay Claims
Several charges for my pet's annual visit were denied due to fact that the visit was 3 days earlier than 1 year from last visit. I was told that my renewal date for the contract was 6/14/26 and her visit was on 6/11/26. (I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks and didn't want her heartworm prevention shot from expiring). They also refuse to pay a covered charge "Fecal Test" since the vet bills this as a "prepaid charge" (when they provide container to be returned with fecal sample for testing). Strangely, they covered the annual visit charge. I requested to be transferred to another senior representative and was told by the representative Norma that there was no supervisor above her to discuss this issue with. Pet's Best appears to be looking for ways not to make payments so I have cancelled my policy and will seek other insurance for my pet.
