I have had pets best for over 3 years
I have had pets best for over 3 years, customer service is horrible, and on a $800 wellness they reimbursed $200, on a $1200, vet bill the say they are reimbursing $150. This insurance is a scam. $100 per month for three years would have been better in a savings account for my dogs health. Put your money in the bank not in their fat pocket.

Extremely expensive prices
Extremely expensive prices. I had to get a quote first in order to qualify for overly priced pet insurance.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Thank you for keeping within the United States and not sourcing out. Your prices are affordable and fair—our beloved pets need that now with out-of-control veterinary care prices. Please consider better dental health preventative coverage.

So worth it!
I was very lucky to have three wonderful dogs in my adult life, from 2005 to 2024. I did not have pet insurance for any of those dogs, and as each one got older, caring for them became significantly more expensive. When my last senior pup passed in fall of 2024 I didn't know if I could bear having and losing a pet again. After a few months without a dog, I saw one at a rescue and I knew I was going to do it one more time. The difference? This time I immediately purchased pet insurance for my two year-old rescue. After about a year of paying premiums, I learned how important it is to have. My dog started throwing up and refusing food and water for over 24 hours. I couldn't get her in to see her regular vet for another 24 to 48 hours, so I took her to a familiar Emergency vet for urgent care. My total bill was $1800 for x-rays, fluids, overnight stay, etc. Today I received a check for just over $1000 from Pets Best. Yes, it was still an expensive vet visit, but getting over half of it back is huge. The small monthly investment is very much worth it to not get hit with a cripplingly large vet bill all at once. As my dog ages, I know I will have benefited greatly in the long run. Thank you, Pets Best!

Our premiums jumped 70 bucks more per month. They go up it seems as the dog gets older. Would not do this again. You're far better putting that money into the bank. 185 to now 254. It's outrageous. Getting the sense that they want you drop it, they've made the bucks off you when the dog was younger and healthier. Beware of this company as your pet gets older.
