Payments are quick,
Payments are quick, usually trupanion pays my vet direct so it is very convenient. Most claims are approved within one day, the only exception was ACL surgery which my vet got pre approved and that took a little longer.

I kind of cringed when I realized nationwide was buying out/taking over VPI. However, they have improved the whole insurance 'game'. It's easier to get payment, they check up on you, they have fun contests. Just like an insurance company should be! They make you a part of their family and in turn, you bring them into yours!

Insurance saved our puppies life
Our Morky Felix accidentally swallowed some heart medication. The vet bills were over $3,000. Having the insurance made it possible for Felix to get the best care possible. The out of pocket expense was about $600 and we were reimbursed the rest within a couple of weeks.
