Still waiting to hear about 2 claims submitted. One processed quickly, but the other 2 have not and there’s been no word from your team regarding additional questions.

Quality Service

I would never trust anyone else with the health and welfare of my pup. Everyone I have dealt with and spoken to throughout the last 5 years has been more than helpful and genuinely concerned on making sure I have the best experience whenever I have a question or concern. I cannot be anymore happy and grateful that I have Trupanion as our insurance for our furry family member. In a world where everyone is always trying to make money off of you, I have never felt that way about what I pay for our coverage. Appreciate everything you do. God Bless.

In my hour of need

In my hour of need, they were there. My beautiful dog needed an expensive emergency CT scan. I almost passed out when I saw the cost. I submitted the bill to Embrace, and within hours they approved it, no questions asked. I almost cried. I thought for sure there would be issues, questions for the vet, other forms to submit, etc. Instead there was nothing but compassion, and support. I'd give Embrace 10 Stars if I could. 5 ain't enough.

Customer service was great when…

Customer service was great when speaking to them before purchasing. What I did not like is that their sample policy is not a good indicator of what is actually covered. So once I purchased it and was able to review the full policy, I cancelled. I feel like I wasted my own as well as their time. If the sample policy had been more expansive I could have avoided it altogether. I think the insurance could be really good for some people, but did not fit my needs.

We rescued our dog from an abusive…

We rescued our dog from an abusive situation. We took him to a vet, they did bloodwork, vaccines and complete physical. Great! We moved 2 years and had to find another vet. We wanted to get him neutered and had to get the surgical bloodwork. The vet noticed that he lost weight and she wanted to wait to see if he continued to lose weight. She told me that there is some diseases that the dog acts and looks normal, but is fatal if not caught. I asked her if we schedule the bloodwork for the following week due to our waiting period. She said that was fine. Came in 3 days after the period was over. Had a complete panel of bloodwork $350. Submitted it and it was denied. Called to see why. Pre existing condition!! I told them that he was diagnosed after the waiting period. They told me that since the vet MENTIONED in the notes about it. It was considered pre existing condition! I told them that his old vet didn't mention it and he was OFFICIALLY diagnosed until he had the complete bloodwork done because you had to LOOKING at certain levels. They said no. Month later, scheduled the neutering. The vet canceled due to blood levels. Submitted it, they denied due to pre existing conditions. I called again to see why. It had nothing to do with PLE but since it showed some of the same results, it was denied. I asked them what exactly will they cover that won't be pre existing, she said well visit as long as it doesn't include bloodwork!! HUH?? Looking for another insurance, not worth it.
