Over a month since my kitten had a long string removed from her intestine. Spoke with customer service a week ago who said everything was in order and that it would be completed within a day. My other kittens claim was completed quickly (we didn't know who ate the string off the toy). 10k credit card bill. Ouch! Do payments delays include interest?

Love the ease of filing a claim and getting reimbursed to my checking account. The customer service team is friendly and caring if I ever have to call. It’s nice being able to actually reach a real live person. Very pleased with Pets Best since 2019.

My pup's surgery and claim submission
My dog Tami had to have surgery for a worrisome condition. Luckily, it was successful, though it would have been difficult to afford it without the insurance from Healthy Paws. Like all my previous experience with Healthy Paws, the claim was settled promptly and met all of my expectations for coverage. It was a happy surprise when the folks at Healthy Paws emailed me to check on her and wish her well. In terms of the processing, I wish I could have Healthy Paws for my own insurance--so much better than any human insurance I have ever had. I submitted the claim and within a couple of days it was processed and I had my payments deposited directly into my account. There are never any lost claims or delays.

Insuring my two dogs with PetsBest has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. The claim process is easy, and the coverage is fantastic - from chronic ear infections to a rare neurological disease, I have needed it many a time. I recommend them to all my friends.
MetLife did very well
Transferred to Metlife from another pet insurance. It was night and day. In my experience, faster and easier processing. Very good customer service! I chose 100% coverage and did not regret it. I was able to transfer despite pre-existing conditions as long as you have documentation and have to wait for the waiting period. I truly believe they have a good product and took care of my pet.

As the proud parent of a lovable Saint Bernard and a sweet King Charles Spaniel, having reliable pet insurance is a must—and Healthy Paws has exceeded all my expectations. From day one, the enrollment process was incredibly easy, and everything was clearly explained. Their coverage is straightforward and generous, which has given me so much peace of mind. My Saint Bernard needed surgery followed by her first seizures (common with larger breeds), and Healthy Paws was right there—fast, compassionate, and supportive. The claims process was simple and quick; I had my reimbursement within a few days, and it covered exactly what they promised. No hidden surprises from their coverage explanation and deductible amounts. They even sent a personal note checking in on how she was doing—such a kind touch that shows how much they truly care. My little King Charles Spaniel also had a bout with an unexpected illness, and once again, Healthy Paws stepped up. Pet Plus Us
I highly recommend Pet Plus US. I got it for my adult cat when I adopted him, hoping not to have to use it, and thankfully, that was the case for many years. However, my baby is aging now, and it's stressful enough to go to the vet and sometimes receive not-so-great news, not to mention the very high costs. Having Pet Plus US helps make this phase easier for me. The claims are approved fairly quickly, and my biggest shout-out goes to their customer team in Canada. I will never forget when I called in a super emotional state due to some sad news, and the agent (I believe his name was Tyler) guided me through the claim process. He genuinely took an interest in helping me, which is super rare nowadays, and he not only made my day better but also had a huge impact on making things easier for me and my cat. Thank you!

Cystonomy on my Zoe
My dog was recently diagnosed with bladder stones. The vet indicated surgery was necessary as medication wouldn't dissolve the stones. I called Pet's Best to speak with the vet to get a second opinion and read them the notes and test results, and they agreed this would be best for my dog. They confirmed the cost as well, as I was skeptical of the price they gave me. They were great in answering my questions and making me feel at ease with my decision. The claim process was easy as well. Although I had more claims to file, they received medical records and paid me after the deductible and co-insurance were met. I would recommend Pet's Best to my family and friends.
The worst ever
Please save yourself from this scam. They have the worst submission process possible, as well as the worst customer service possible. They make you jump and bend over backwards to even get an approval on a claim. I’ve had to send in multiple bank statements and cleared out my personal information just to prove that I had paid for a vet visit. Please do not please do not sign up for this insurance company.
