She also immediately sent me a form to help me with getting pre-approval. The form is very simple, and easy for me to complete.

I insured Charley Girl just before she was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. I thought for sure Trupanion would think I was trying to get over on them because of the timing. Trupanion did not have a second thought and reimbursed me right away. Interactions with them have been pleasant and payment was always rapid.

Other pet owners in the animal ER were not as fortunate as I and had to make heartbreaking decisions on the treatment of their pets. The website is so much better now that claims are separated by pet name. Much easier to keep track of things. Now I only wish there was an app, so that the pictures I take of my receipts could be uploaded with a claim form, without having to transfer pics to my computer
