I'm a True believer in Trupanion pet insurance.
I'm a True believer in Trupanion pet insurance. This company has provided significant financial support for my old yellow Labrador with Cushings Disease and most recently, end of life treatment/support for a very aggressive form of cancer. My dog's oncologist also told me it was the best pet insurance on the market today. Even though we know our sweet Bosco's life is coming to an end, Trupanion is paying 90% of his chemo, blood tests and other medications. Many kudos to Trupanion staff as well, who have been extremely caring and helpful each time I called with any questions about coverage. I also received a beautiful card, personally signed by staff, upon learning of Bosco's cancer diagnosis. I appreciate that claims are also extremely easy to submit....just take a picture of the invoice, answer a couple of questions and submit. I get reimbursed in a few days, which really helps when the credit card bill comes in! In conclusion, Trupanion has far exceeded my expectations and has allowed us to provide our dog with specialized veterinary care that otherwise we would not be able to afford. Thank you, Trupanion, from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing us to love on our old yellow dog for a little while longer......

I own a retail pet food and supply store on the west side of Vancouver, BC. Trupanion is THE ONLY pet insurance company I talk about to customers with new puppies. I appreciate the deductible options that are available and how quickly claims are paid when I submit them myself online. Hopefully that has translated into policies for your company!

Our dog had very red eyes with puss.
Our dog had very red eyes with puss. We took her to her vet who after examining her said she has an eye infection and prescribed an ointment. Upon filing our claim we were told that the examination with vet is not covered. It is perplexing how a determination of the problem can be made without an exam by an expert.

Since my dog Petey's diagnosis with Heart Disease about 2.5 weeks ago Trupanion has been very supportive. I pretty much didn't know much of how the coverage worked and truthfully never expected to have to use it. From the very first time I spoke with a representative I am so happy that I chose Trupanion. In fact, all of the representative's I have spoken with have taken the time to both inform me and console me at the same time. It's been very comforting. Submitting the invoice and receiving reimbursement was almost effortless. I feel very fortunate that you were recommended to me years ago. Thank you.

One of my dogs qualified for coverage of extractions while the other didn’t because it was dental the vet recommended but no extractions so no coverage.

We will see if you turn out to be like previous Pet Insurer's ( turned every claim down by everyone ) as to current issue at hand........................I will hold up on my complete opinion. FYI I am the "KING" nationally and internationally due my Dir. of Marketing position with an Intern'L Service firm, to go viral on every available "Social Media/Internet".... Ask TREX company their CEO & General Counsel got the message when I had claim that was "initially turned down" they got it REAL FAST seeing that they would stand to lose $10's of thousands of dollars in future revenues and "Stood-up" and did the right thing, seeing I was indeed correct.....................
