Trupanion has been great!
I had been meaning to get pet insurance but it took me awhile to get around to it. I'm glad I got it when I did because about 9 months later my dog started having eye problems. Trupanion has been great in taking care of her . The claim process is streamlined making things easy. I would highly recommend them.

Getting pet insurance was a really good idea!
I have friends who swear by pet insurance. I've never had it before, but when I got my puppy a year and a half ago I signed up. Submitting the claims are easy, and I love getting those checks in the mail!

If your dog develops a chronic health problem, you will be really glad you have this insurance.
We have had this insurance for a number of years for our pug dog, who is now 15 years old. For the first few years, we made few claims, and we weren't sure whether the insurance was worth it. Then our dog got older and developed a number of health problems. She had been very healthy when she was younger, but she now has: chronic pancreatitis, diabetes, irritable bowel disease, and recently has had issues with bladder infections. Having insurance for her has meant that we can take her of her the way she deserves without worrying about the cost. I actually added up how much we have received back from the insurance vs. how much we have paid in premiums, and even counting the premiums we paid in her healthier years, we actually come out ahead. Claims are usually dealt with quickly and smoothly, and our vet will even help us file them, so it is minimal effort on our part. I definitely recommend this insurance, especially if your pet is getting older.

Major Surgery!
When my dog T-bone needed orthopedic surgery, my husband and I were concerned about the cost of the procedure. ASPCA paid the majority of the bill which helped us to get the best care for our dog. Thank you, ASPCA!

Fantastic insurance & all of the reps are great
