Won’t pay for anything that really matters
My dog has luxating patella on both knees. Obviously dogs are either born this way or they do not have it. My dog never showed signs of this. Our vet showed us that she does have this condition but most dogs never seem to be bothered by this. I moved to a different state and a whole new bunch of problems occurred. Her knees began to hurt more, she has allergies to many other things, etc. Trupanion will not help in any way to fix her knees. Not even for medication or hospitalization that might occur. I do understand that the surgery was to fix a pre existing condition but my plan should cover any medication or hospitalization that might occur. Should I just wait until her knees rupture before I get the surgery for Trupanion to start helping? Will it be a new condition then?

Extremely easy and efficient
I have had insurance with trupanion for 9 years and have had awesome experiences! My dog had an extensive medical issue and trupanion was great in expediting her claims.

I’m a big fan of ASPCA!
I was very happy with my insurance. I have it a 9/10 only because it did take a little while for the claim to be processed...close to 3 months I believe. But they answered all of my questions same day and of course my cat is happy healthy and back to being the terror that he is :)

ASPCA pet Insurance is a good healthcare plan.
I'm really glad a good friend enrolled me during my dogs Emergency clinic visit. I had to pay $400 that day without reimbursement. Now when my pet receives her annual Wellness shots/checks and urgent care a great portion of the bill is reimbursed quickly. Thank you!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review When I realized my dog was going to be bigger than the 30-50 lbs the shelter guessed he would be, I decided to shop around for pet insurance, knowing that larger dogs are more prone to musculoskeletal injuries than their smaller counterparts; Healthy Paws came highly recommended, so I signed him up. Sure enough, a few short months later he tore his CCL and required radiographs, then surgery. Healthy Paws not only promptly reimbursed me for my claim(s), but they also followed up with sympathetic inquiries about his condition, and sincere wishes for his total recovery, proving they are a company with heart. It's so nice to get that compassion in this greedy corporate world, and I would recommend Healthy Paws whole-heartedly to anyone interested in purchasing pet insurance.

PB was there for me when my last pup was so ill...that was Mickey, with a Yorkiebdisease for which there is no saving a Yorkie.
Pets Best stool by me for over a year as vets tried to save Mickey, our little Yorker. The vets tried everything... but this awful illness has no cure, and it’s know as the YORKIE DISEASE because that is the breed who come down with this horror! I’ve read about 1 out of every 1000 Yorkies die of this. Pets Best covered most everything that the Vets tried. For a year and a half. We put him down (the Pup, not the Vet!) when he had almost nothing to live for. He still loves to be cuddled but he was suffering. We so appreciated all that Pets Best helped us out with. Helped us with the costs of trying SO MANY ways to save him. We have used Pets Best for about the last 12 years. We are So pleased with their help!

No Hassle!
I've submitted several claims, which is very easy to do on their website, and they have all been covered. I was afraid going into this that they would be a typical insurance company that tries to not pay for anything, but it's just the opposite. The customer service is also excellent.
