Better understanding of coverage
I called this morning to try to better understand what type of coverage I will have should I proceed with a treatment for my cat (Hyperthyroidism). When I specifically inquired about the I-131 treatment, the ph representative could not confirm or deny the coverage, kept misunderstanding my questions, and only when she did (after I explained several times), she yet again would not say what type of plan or reimbursement I will be receiving. As a customer, how can I decide what level of financial responsibility I am willing to incur if no clarity is given about coverage? I was not asking to have a claim pre-approved, all I was asking was for a better understanding of my plan. This experience has truly given me the desire to cancel it altogether!

So, so very thankful I bought this policy
We have had multiple issues with our 2 1/2 yr old Hank, ranging from TPLO surgery for torn ACL/CCL to choking because of ingesting unknown substance to allergic reaction to plate from TPLO (causing multilple infections) and then plate removal. These ranged in cost from over $4000 (TPLO), $1500 (plate removal) to several hundred for various xray, etc. All these occurred in less than 10 months. I have NOT waited more than 2 weeks for ANY re-imbursement. And all have been fully what I calculated. I can only guess for those not having the same results that perhaps their vet did not complete all the paperwork properly. Once our vet filled out initial paperwork, following claims were so simple to complete. I could not be happier with Embrace. I am SO thankful we took out the policy when our dogs were healthy!

Had them for 4 month to cover our 6 month old Australian cattle dog Jack, on our last routine Trip to the vet we are told his testicles are most likely in his abdomen and he will need surgery. Prior to that visit, 3 month ago the vet had noted that they were undescended but that it would be too early to tell if it was an issue. We'll healthy paws holds on to anything to deny a claim. Apparently since it was nopyed it's now on the exclusion list and nothing will be covered, including all the complications Jack has had due to the surgery. Be aware they will take a note from the vet and deny anything they can.

Amazing company
I'm thankful that I had Trupanion Pet Insurance last month. I lost my dog a few days after getting hit by a car. The vet bills were adding up and in the end I still lost my precious dog. Trupanion was there to help with starting my claims and keeping me posted with the pet portal on the website. They took care of 90% of the bill, which I am so grateful I had the insurance to begin with. You pray that you never need to use it, but when you do-these people who work for Trupanion are amazing. They are pet owners too and even sent me sympathy cards after hearing she passed. Amazing company, excellent staff.....I just cant say thank you enough. THANK YOU TRUPANION!

I have used Nationwide for several years. I am so glad I have it to take care of my dog. This year seemed to be the year we really needed their help. From a back injury, to some type of problem causing major irrigation to his face - they have been there to support us. It is very easy to file a claim on-line or through the mail. Usually within ten days, we have notification of coverage. I would highly suggest Nationwide Pet Insurance for your pet.

This is this first time i had pet insurance. I find Nationwide to always "be on my side". They are prompt in the reimbursment check. i did compare before I chose Nationwide and found their plan to be the most comprehensive.

Getting insurance was the best thing we have done!
Jake is our 3rd Dane. We love the breed but they do come with medical issues. This one ended up with hyperthyroidism. It took a few vet visits to figure out what was going on him but now he is on meds daily and is doing great! Pet insurance sure helped with all his medical bills and meds. Would recommend Nationwide to everyone who has a pet. Jake also has many allergies and allergy testing is expensive. Nationwide took care of almost everything.
