Nationwide pet insurance is a life saver, literally!
I can honestly say that having Nationwide pet insurance saved my dog's life when she ate some chocolate saved for Christmas! Because we had insurance for her, we did not hesitate to take her directly to the vet and so glad we did! The vet bills were very high but since we pay into insurance, Nationwide is covering her vet bills at 90%.

Easy, Fast, Friendly and Caring
I chose ASPCA pet insurance after much research and after questioning others about their experiences with other insurers. The ASPCA website setup is user-friendly allowing easy claim submission. E-mails are sent providing updates on the status of a claim so there is no need to login to the website. ASPCA clearly outlines specifics if they require more information for processing the claim. Turnaround for processing is usually 7 to 10 days. Claim payments are made by check or direct deposit. Customer Service is exceptional and includes a follow-up call to check on the well-being of your pet.

Trupanion has paid for itself 10 times over already!
This might be long winded, but I just want to tell a few examples of how great my experience has been so far with trupanion. I have done alot of research before getting insurance for bear, and trupanion came out on top by far in every aspect. By the age of 6 months, my rottweiler needed double TPLO surgery at a cost of $14,000 and trupanion was there to cover 90% no questions asked. Also, my parents put insurance on their older mixed breed who was 9 at the time of coverage, and about 3 months after insuring him they found out he had hemangiosarcoma when his spleen had ruptured suddenly when they brought him to the emergency vet. Trupanion was willing to pay for a $6000 emergency surgery at a moments notice, and the claim had been accepted within 10 minutes of the vet calling them! Most of the bad reviews I have read, I believe, are due to people not actually reading their policies and maybe not understanding what pre-existing really means, or not understanding that a condition may be covered but you are going to pay full price until your deductible is satisfied (just my opinion, sorry). Trupanion has been a life saver for us.

Agents showed up most empathy for my kitty's well-being after he was hit by a vehicle.
New to pet insurance, my first claim(s) are taking a LOT of time to process. A hit and run came at the Christmas season. I took my gift giving and bill budgets to pay for surgery. Agents showed concern when I made mention Fred is doing less than good. Only concern is the amount of time to reimburse what I paid out. Expecting reimbursements tomorrow and will note overall experience when finished. My choose vet must be changed because she doesn't want to participate but found a vet who is happy to participate.
