Best insurance Company
Nationwide has been super easy to work with ever since I got the pet insurance. I've only had one issue and it was resolved quicker than expected (a claim was denied that should not have been). They answer questions quickly and have been nothing but helpful. I'm so glad I chose Nationwide as I have heard stories from friends with pet insurance that have had terrible experiences and a lot of issues. Everything is explained clearly and claims are generally processed super quick! They have always been responsive to my needs and questions and are very helpful! I have nothing but good things to say!! Very transparent with Explanation of Benefits and it's always easy to understand. Claim submissions are easy, I can just email them the invoice and cover sheet and I'm good to go. It's easy to check on the status of the claim as well.

Insurance for my dog for 14 years
Since I have never had any other pet insurance except VPI/Nationwide, I am not sure how the benefits compare. I just wish they would pay for the price I am paying

Pet Insurance: Best choice I ever made!
I have had (VPI) Nationwide Pet Insurance since our dog was a puppy and it is definitely worth it! Eliminates the stress of the rising cost of medical care for animals, and let's face It, when your dog is sick you’re already stressed, so not having to worry about the cost is well worth it! The only reason I gave them a 9 instead of a 10 is I wish the turn around time for them to disburse the reimbursement was a little quicker. Usually takes a month to get your money. Which doesn’t sound bad if its just a small claim, however if you’re having something major done that costs thousands of dollars, it would be nice to get reimbursed faster. Other than that, their customer service and ease of sending in claims and receiving money is super easy. Your vet can submit your claims for you also! I would highly recommend

Best Customer Service Ever
This review is long over due. Words can not express how truly grateful I am to Trupanion and their team. Every person I have dealt with has not only been professional but compassionate . Claims are handled quickly and they are always there to help . You never know what kind of illness or accident can happen to your pet. Our dog was hit by a car ( came out with only a scratch) and almost died from meningitis. If it wasn't for Trupanion we would still be struggling to pay our vet bills. I recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to everyone I know who has fur babies!!!!
I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance from day one for Lucy, she's now 6 months old, and for most of Maggie's life and she's almost 11. The insurance program for both dogs has continually improved. It may seem expensive, but if you add up your regular vet bills, and anything else that may occur, it is definitely worth the cost. Everyone I talk to that has dogs, we discuss insurance, and I have recommended Nationwide, and most have reached out. Some are able to get it through their company programs...which is where I also began. Nationwide is responsive, extremely fair, and easy to submit claims! Thank you Nationwide!!!
