AMAZING COMPANY/REMARKABLE COVERAGE
Our decision to invest in a Nationwide policy soon after our puppy's arrival was perhaps the best decision we've ever made! We considered this option at our initial vet visit only after a seasoned tech suggested: " If you don't have health insurance, get it! Nationwide is the best. " We could not be more grateful, and frankly, even surprised by the last 18 months of generous, supportive, and hassle-free coverage. "Murphy" is perfect in every way, however he has had a myriad of chronic and serious health issues which would have been a significant financial hardship had it not been for Nationwide. One of the best purchases we ever made
We insured our puppy the day we brought him home. We figured we would not need insurance hopefully, but piece of mind is everything. Well, you never know. We actually did have a need and the service and speed of reimbursement is absolutely great! We are completely pleased and will highly recommend Embrace to all of our many pet loving friends. The plan works better than a thought
I was surprised that my dog actually had some coverage since he had so many weird issues. I'm an insurance agent and after receiving and reading the policy it seemed nothing was covered but I was wrong. Vertu happy to have some assistance with his ongoing medical needs

NOT a Smooth Transition from PC Pet Insurance
We were sadly transferred from PC Pet Insurance to Pets Plus Us and there's a huge difference between the two. My vet has sent a number of claims over the past few months, but I've only heard back from Pets Plus Us 3 times. However, the biggest issue for me is that there is no way to access your account online. I don't mind if reimbursements take some time, but in 2019, I'd expect to be able to see my claims and reimbursements online. Disappointed and shopping for a different insurance company :( ...

Overall ok but claims process can be difficult if additional documentation is required
My experience with Nationwide has been mixed. WIth my prior cat, I had to provide alot of addiitonal documentation and claims were still rejected. The annual caps for coverage when a pet has a chronic illness made no sense to me. For example, my cat had congestive heart failure, and after basically one or two follow-up appointments, the insurance was capped out for any additional xrays or even her medication. The coverage for continued care needs is poor, given the premiums paid. The coverage is fine for one-time medical needs or annual maintenance exams.

peace of mind for my fur baby
Trupanion has far exceeded my expectations. The process of being refunded could not be easier. They don't question my veterinarian's care decisions and allow her to provide the best care for my fur baby. If only human health insurance was this comprehensive, easy and caring. Thank you Trupanion!
