I'm very pleased with Nationwide pet insurance. I was pleasantly surprised on the reimbursement amount and I received my check exactly two weeks after my dog was at the vet. I have told several of my friends who have puppies that they should you get Nationwide!

Easy to use, great to have!

Very worth the investment
All is great, except for extended emergency visit claim review for possible pre-existing condition. Winston is a brand new puppy so nothing was pre-existing. He is doing awesome!

Won’t cover claim for hip supplement and remedy that was previously covered for chronic conditions.
At this point I would not recommend this insurance. Truly not worth the effort of contacting my vet and having them contact Trupanion a number of times for homeopathic treatment of hip Dysplasia that the dog was diagnosed with at 2 and had been insured for since 1 1/2. I pay extra for a rider that includes homeopathic treatment yet the company does not understand how this care works. Battling for a $13.00 remedy and a $50. 00 supplement that have been covered in the past for treatment.

Healthy Paws saved me. I adopted a puppy who was very sick and ended up having serious genetic issues that endangered his life. He’s had two major surgeries and so many repeat visits to multiple vets, including holistic care. The cost has been around $20,000 and Healthy Paws has covered almost all of it. I keep thinking to myself if a pet company can be so reputable and organized, then why can’t we figure this out for humans. I almost had guilt they were paying for so much. They always respond with love and care. They check on my fur baby. I’m always reimbursed within 3-4 days. Additionally for some big procedures, they approved payment in advanced. I’m so thankful to them everyday because for the small minimum I pay for my dog I know they’ll never recoup their losses with me and they treat me with such care and respect. Everyone should go with Healthy paws. They cover what most insurers don’t, especially is you have a Frenchie.
