Long wait to get money back
I had issues submitting my claim from my phone so I tried from my iPad and still had issues so I ended up having to do it from my computer. I no longer have a computer so hopefully the claim submission process from a mobile device has been resolved. My biggest issue with my first claim is that it took almost two months before I received my money back. The site says most are done within 30 days. Another issue I had is that I was the one having to call in to check on the status. After the first few days of submitting my claim, I called in to make sure everything was OK only to be told I needed to submit more information. Had I not called in, I would’ve never known. If additional information was needed, I should have been notified by the company — it shouldn’t be up to the customer to call in and then be told. If it wasn’t for me calling in this claim probably would’ve taken even longer to get resolved.

This insurance is great! The claims are always paid quickly and my only regret is that I didn't sign up for it as soon as we got the two dogs!

Easy and hassle free
Buying this pet insurance has turned out to be such a great decision. My dog has become very sick, and they have been very supportive. Just about everything has been covered at 80% besides the examination fees as they make known that those are not covered. I have not had one issue after filing over 20 claims totaling probably over $8,000. The insurance has allowed me to keep my dog alive and continue to manage his kidney failure. I would never have another pet without pet insurance, and Healthy Paws has created an exceptional experience.

Easy process
Thank you Nationwide for your policies! The process to submit a claim is very simple and the turn around time is very quick. Maggie had a random mass on her face in January and it as taken a lot of trips to different Vets to figure out what it was. We finally have our answer and hopefully can put this behind us. Nationwide has been great with the recent claims!

Coverage is fair, but not super. Better then not having it. Wish covered all vaccines and prevention medicine for the whole year and not just a set amount.
