Easy claim process
It is so easy to submit a claim! And, the review and payout process is quick and efficient. I especially like the option to direct deposit into our bank account. This is the easiest claim process I’ve ever used. Thank you!

So grateful for Healthy Paws coverage!
I have to say that I'm so pleased with Heathy Paws- from the no hassle claim submission process to the reimbursement to the excellent customer service- everything has been so easy and helpful! We're so happy to have this policy with Healthy Paws and the coverage afforded in his policy....we were able to get our dog the surgery he needed without having to worry about thousands of dollars in bills.

Nationwide is on my side!
I have nothing but great things to say about Nationwide pet insurance. Nationwide has indeed kept their word and provided Miley (our dog) with the best coverage. Nationwide is responsive and quick with their reimbursements. Every time I've called Nationwide with a question, the representatives have done their best to answer my questions and let me know that they care about my pet. I've recommended Nationwide to other pet owners because their insurance sounds a lot better than other ones.

Great customer service
Nationwide has been a wonderful insurance company. Our puppy has had medical emergencies on top of the regular, normal puppy exams and vaccinations. It is very easy to file a claim and within a few days it is usually processed. They even reimburse directly into my bank account! Thank you Nationwide

Highest coverage plan available, but a lot of hoops to jump through
We switched to Nationwide from Healthy Paws earlier this year. Healthy Paws’ premiums were going up a minimum of 25%+ each year and we kept having to downgrade our coverage to keep the plans affordable. Anyway, we chose Nationwide's full coverage plan to pays 90% on just about everything after the $100 annual deductible. While Nationwide has lived up to their end of the bargain to cover 90% after the deductible, I’ve had to argue with them and jump through quite a bit of hoops to make them do so. I would recommend them because I think there is value for their coverage. While the full coverage plan is expensive, it gives us peace of mind knowing we won’t have to worry about how we are going to finance an emergency.

Trupanion is an insurance company...they do not care about your pet.
I rescued the cutest 2-month-old all-black kitten and the first thing I did after preparing my home for a new baby was call Trupanion, to sign him up the day of his first vet visit. Once he was signed up, we went to the vet, and they informed us that we should have waited to sign him up because they would have given us an offer/link that would have made his coverage immediate. I wasn't too concerned because the vet bill that day was small. The very next morning, my kitten had a freak accident and was blinded in one eye. Now he is not covered for anything relating to the injury. When I contacted Trupanion to ask for an exemption they told me, "all pet insurance companies are just that - insurance..., but once you're out of your waiting periods we can help with anything new." Then when I reminded them that if I had waited an hour to sign up, he would be covered, they very politely said tough cookies. You would think since they are trying to get more people to buy pet insurance they would do better by a new (presumably) lifelong customer who had also signed up her other two much older and more expensive fur babies, but, no. They would rather lose all her business than make one small exception for an injured and sick, sweet baby kitten. Again, in their own words, "all pet insurance companies are just that - insurance," they are not to be trusted. The Best Pet Insurance Ever!
We are so thankful for ASPCA pet insurance and all that they have reimbursed for our Newfoundland’s bilateral TPLO surgeries. Without their assistance we would not have been able to offer these surgeries for a more comfortable life for our girl.
