Terrible service

Terrible service. Denied my dogs broken tooth surgery even though it should be covered. The amount they were willing to pay didn’t even cover the deductible even though the surgery was $2000. Gingivitis has nothing to do with why his tooth broke and that is their justification for not paying.

Peace of Mind and Excellent Support

Trupanion's rapid response to our pre-approval and payment for services made a very stressful situation easier to manage. Adding more claims for the same injury was very easy and straightforward, and the chat support experience was excellent.

MetLife made the experience very easy and quick as far as uploading my pets forms from the vet. The reviewed the claims rather quickly and issued my reimbursement quickly. Although there was a small issue with the electronic payment but I received a paper check. All the same, it was a great experience and I’m glad my dogs are insured with MetLife.

Pumpkin Pet Insurance is Necessary!!!!!!!!!!

I have 6 cats with policies. Most of the time I might just make my deductible or not need to use it…BUT…I adopt rescue cats so I never know their complete history. Recently I found out one of my boys has a chronic condition that was not pre-existing. There would have been no way I could have afforded the care he needs if I did not have Pumpkin Pet Insurance. One visit alone was around $3000. AFTER the deductible. Phew! 90% paid!!!!! I’d rather pay a monthly premium that doesn’t hurt my budget for all my babies and know I will be able to give them veterinary care when needed than use the money on stuff I don’t need and then not be able to afford to keep my babies healthy. I would be so stressed out if something unexpected happened and they were in pain or sick and I couldn’t do anything. I love my cats so much. They are my family, my kids, and a responsible mom makes sure they stay as healthy as possible. Pet insurance is worth every cent. I love the ease of doing everything online my phone on their website. They process claims so quickly and my reimbursements are within a day or two. Can’t beat that kind of service!!! Plus, every single rep I have had contact with has been amazing and helpful and friendly. I love that they are all pet parents too!!!

Buyer’s beware

Buyer’s beware. I bought and paid for a pet policy with great benefits when my dog was 2 yo. I wanted to have this coverage for his care when he got older and would need it. But. when my dog turned 7, Healthy Paws REDUCED the benefits that I bought and paid for just when I needed the benefits the most. Never again, I’ll save up on my own. It’s a rip off. Policy changes should be made for their new customers, not to those who have already purchased and paid for a policy.

Terrible service

Terrible service; terrible company. I am an RVT and had my partner sign up for pet insurance in case of emergencies or in case I swapped professions down the road. We looked into fetch because it seemed to have good coverage and good reviews. We had submitted OVER A MONTH AGO an estimate for our emergency dental of our 9 month old kitten to have assistance covering the cost. We were DENIED because of "pre-existing conditions" such as - anesthetic monitoring and isoflorane. Tell me how this is a pre-existing condition? Emergency surgery to have a tooth removed before even a year old because of a malocclusion forming and changing the development of his teeth isn't a pre-existing condition. We are incredibly disappointed and will be swapping insurance companies immediately. Little to no explanation of why it was taking so long to review our records and invoice and then denied for not a valid reason. These invoices and records are supposed to be reviewed by a certified technician. Any RVT can see that this was not a "pre-existing condition" from the records. 0/5 stars fetch.
