Efficient, Honest and Caring
Five weeks ago, our 10 year-old Springer tore her rear knee ACL so badly it disconnected. She needed reconstruction surgery. We were incredibly stressed about her safety, our ability to care for her when she came home, and also the cost. It has been so much easier than we expected, largely because of Healthy Paws Health Insurance. When I called them to check coverage, they assured me that unless it was a pre-existing condition, there would be no problem. They told us not to worry, that Healthy Paws was there to relieve us of stress, not increase it. Since our girl has been insured since she was less than a year old we were relieved. The surgery was expensive, and we were reimbursed exactly as we hoped, within days of submitting the bills. We have enjoyed their efficiency and courtesy for ten years of mostly mundane and minor health issues (foxtails, UTI infections, allergies...) Their processing system is extremely streamlined and user friendly. We find their newsletters informational. And their customer service all these years has convinced us that they actually care about our girl. They have never let us down, but this time they really had our backs - and we deeply appreciate it. Bilateral TPLO surgery covered
I enrolled my pup with Trupanion not long after I got him and I'm glad I did. Just before turning 2 he injured his knee. I was told he would need TPLO surgery but little did I know when it came the day of surgery he actually needed both knees done. I was prepared to pay for one but hadn't considered both. I'm glad I had the insurance, this made the decision to do both knees a very easy one. The only thing I found was it took quite a while (longer than the 7-10 days) to get the refund from Trupanion for what they were going to cover. Otherwise I am very happy with the outcome and it was an easy process. Thanks Trupanion!

Happy overall
I am happy overall with my coverage. Claims are handled quickly and for the most part easily done. Coverage is good. However pet is prone to ear infections and it Baffles me that you refuse to cover vet visits and medications bc he has had more than one over a period of time. A child would be covered for same, why not a pet? Its not lack of care that causes them. Dont understand that.

Healthy Paws kept me informed of what was needed to complete the claim for my dog. Once all of the paperwork was submitted, the claim was issued within 24 - 48 hours. They also followed up to see how my dog was doing after surgery.

Thank God for Embrace
Our Frenchie was diagnosed with GME just after her 2nd birthday, and has been on a regime of chemo and steroids for 6 months. She's responded well to treatment and is active, alert and happy. Embrace never flinched through any of the costs for diagnosis and treatment. This is our 3rd dog with Embrace insurance, but the first with serious health challenges. I've looked at other pet insurance providers but their coverages for serious illness often have individual limits which are much less than the policy maximum, and they don't provide the comprehensive coverage when you need it most. Embrace's customer service is outstanding. I have been a policyholder for almost 15 years.

Healthy Paws is the Best Pet Insurance Company!
I am so glad I got pet insurance from Healthy Paws for my dog Kiwi, half German Shepherd/half Boxer. They are amazing! They make filing a claim very easy and claims are completed and paid out quickly. They have covered all my dogs needs, including biopsies, hip dysplasia, ACL repair surgery, physical therapy, acupuncture, and even stem cell therapy! I even got contacted by them to check on my dog’s well being! Kiwi is my service dog, but also my best friend! I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have Healthy Paws!!

Made a difficult time much more easy to deal with!
We have been a Healthy Paws member since 2015 and to date they had provided us with easy reimbursements for general care with minimal issue. Our 16-year old shih tzu was unfortunately diagnosed with melanoma in March 2020, and Healthy Paws helped alleviate a lot of stress during what was an already emotionally and financially trying time. Their phone associate, Caleb, made sure to answer all my questions, and they worked with both the vet and oncologist to make sure we were taken care of. We have in the past, and will continue to recommend Healthy Paws to other pet parents.

MY CHIHUAHUA WOULD NOT BE HERE IF IT WERENT FOR THE HELP OF NATIONWIDE PET INSURANCE. HE CONTRACTED MENNINGITIS AND BARTONELLA AT THE SAME TIME ONE YEAR AGO. IT WAS AND HAS BEEN A COSTLY JOURNEY TO KEEP HIM ALIVE AND NOW FINALLY DOING WELL..THANKS TO NATIONWIDE COVERING MOST ALL OF HIS COSTS. tHIS IS A GREAT INSURANCE COMPANY AND i RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO GETS A PET TO INSURE THEM IMMEDIATLEY THROUGH NATIONWIDE. yOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN AND THEY HAVE COME THROUGH FOR MY PET.
