We wanted to use ASPCA health insurance because we are gold members since we donate every month and thought why not use them to insure our pet but ever since we started it’s been like we don’t even have insurance. We get reimbursed little to nothing back because they claim nothing is covered under our policy and it’s almost impossible to get someone on the phone even pre-COVID to dispute these claims once they are processed which takes over a month to begin with. If you have to take your pet to the vet frequently or have pre-existing conditions (and even if you don’t they’ll claim you do) I would find another insurance.

Trupanion was our life saver. Literally.
My dog Maeve is in the middle of a major health battle, and it's been terrifying and exhausting, and its ongoing. Trupanion has been outstanding and supportive. Our claims have been processed and paid quickly, and it's been a huge relief to have been able to focus on her treatment and care without having to stress about being able to cover the treatments that will save her. The customer care agent I spoke to when I first called was kind and supportive, and patiently listened to my sobbing on the phone. She said, "You're covered. This is exactly why you have insurance." Thank you!!
