Exceeded all my expectations!
Healthy Paws is AMAZING. When I rescued my dog at 6 months old I wasn’t sure about pet insurance but I figured we’d give it a try. Countless ear infections, skin allergies, and a torn ACL, Healthy Paws has covered everything and our claims were completed within a day or two and our reimbursements were sent immediately to my bank account. Health insurance for our pets is truly a must with everything that can happen and having Healthy Paws behind us helps me to know I can do anything to support my dog.

Very easy to work with
I just had to have eye surgery on my 1 year old Chow Chow. I was stressed enough, without having to worry about the cost of surgery. Healthy Paws was easy to work with. I take a picture of the bill and diagnosis, send it to them through their app, and within 2 weeks I had my reimbursement check. The only thing I had to worry about was getting my pup well. Nice job Healthy Paws.

Absolutely not. Worst Experience. Run.
My husky had three outdor adventure related injuries Pets Plus Us refused to cover anything. Resulting in me paying over $6,000 in vet bills. I made multiple phone calls and emails with zero response. I have been trying to cancel my insurance with Pets Plus Us for the last 12 months, they are STILL charging me and refuse to answer my emails or return my calls. This company did nothing but contribute to the already present stress of a sick animal. I have switched both pets to a seperate insurance company six months ago. Four days after I switched to Truepanion I received two individual presents for each pet, both with customized bandanas, numbered collar tags and a welcome card for each animal.

I’ve had this insurance for 3+ yrs now and they have covered every emergency and surgery my fur baby has had. Great costumer service and they pay back faster than expected. I can now relax knowing my dog is insured and covered instead of having to break the bank to get him treated. Do not hesitate and get this insurance. You’ll thank me one day.

Already recommended two families.
Already recommended two families. Trupanion has been wonderful. Our precious shitzu baby had to have surgery for a herniated disc. Thanks to Trupanion ( and our vets) she is walking again and on the road back to her sweet feisty self. Couldn’t have done it without Trupanion!
