Pets Plus Us processed both our pre-determination and claim very quickly. Although our monthly premiums continue to rise on annual basis, I still recommend the coverage offered by Pets Plus Us.

I don’t know what we would have done without Healthy Paws pet insurance this year. We adopted our dog Sting just over a year ago and I didn’t even know pet insurance was a thing until I saw that it was offered as part of my benefits plan at work. Not knowing what to expect I thought we’d give it a try for awhile, probably never need it but better safe than sorry. I am so glad that we did, just a few weeks ago we were told that our pup needed a pricey surgery. It has more than paid for itself and the peace of mind I have knowing that if something unexpected happens I can file a claim in seconds, receive a response in days & reimbursement in less than a week is worth the monthly fee! Plus they reached out to check on Sting and make sure he was recovering well, it melted my heart!

Trupanion is the best. They are so helpful and nice. It was so easy to file on line. They process the claim very quickly. They are always available to answer any questions. They explain everything so thoroughly. I have a Chihuahua who went through Cataract surgery and lens implantation, and a few other procedures. Trupanion was there for me. Seamless Coverage
My dog had to undergo dental surgery which was really expensive and would have been a big financial hit before xmas without pet insurance. Trupanion made it super easy: while I was waiting for my dog to be picked up and the bill from the vet, Trupanion approved the charges, paid their covered share all in a span of 10 min. I was very grateful that I didn't have to pay the whole bill upfront and then submit it for reimbursement of the covered amount. It was also a big relief how quickly it was all handled. It made my experience (although traumatic for my dog) very positive. Thank you!

Easy form and submission process!
The form was easy to fill out and submit. Updates on my claim(s) were sent via text and emails. Quite pleased with Trupanion’s process.

The last claim I sent in was done promptly but they did not read the receipt correctly. I had prepaid for a the yearly worm stool test but had brought my dog in for a skin rash. The denied the claim and said the annual stool test was not cover (which I am aware of) but totally missed the reason for my visit.

Once I finally got to a specialist she was able to assist with no issues and very quickly.

Sadly on my first attempt earlier that day, it was not as simple... as apparently no one was available and someone was to call back but never did so I had to call back. With my other pet on the same policy, it was difficult to register as well.
