The process is quick, clearly explained and consistent. I’m dissapointed in how many things are not covered- but each time that is clearly explained. I actually recommended Trupanion just last night to a friend exploring pet insurance

One of the things I like most about your company is that I always get a human being to talk to they know who I am and my pets name. My dog Lucy has been having a lot of problems lately and I was worried because I was sending in so many claims. But the lady that answered the phone was sympathetic and asked how Lucy was doing and told me not to worry explained what was covered and what wasn’t. I always recommend you to anybody that I know has a pet or is getting one. These days it’s really hard to get good customer service . I’d say you and Amazon have been my best experiences this year!

Soooo worth it to have this insurance
Emma is such a sweet puppy and when she started to vomit and refused to eat or get out of her crate, I knew something was wrong. We called our regular vet and even in this time of packed schedules they said they could see her ..but... if there was an obstruction they would need to send me to emergency. So we went to emergency, an obstruction was visualized . Long story short, she needed surgery and they found an eye from a toy in her intestine along with shreds of cotton. So people watch those stuffed toys. She is now back to being Emma. Thank you Trupanion for helping to make this emergency visit a little easier on our pocket book.
