its pretty much no hassle. Signing my Cinna up for insurance was the best decision I've ever made. Were it not for the quick payment on claims and excellent coverage I could not have taken care of her all these years, nor would I be able to get her the surgery she now needs without Trupanion.

outrageous price increases
Each year you increase your prices , especially on older animals. This year however I have received a letter saying nationwide is requesting up to a 57% increase. That is outrageous! I’m sure senior animals and those with pre existing conditions are the ones you go after as they can’t get insurance elsewhere. That is a terrible thing to do and I would not recommend nationwide on this fact alone. As your pet ages it has health problems the health insurance you have paid into for years will then become unaffordable

ASPCA gives me my money's worth!
I have had this insurance for over 10 years on my dog. Even though we have maxed out some years on reimbursements, ASPCA continues to cover Sparky and the annual rates do not increase too much. I am more than happy with the service I receive.
