Pets Best Insurance
I've had Pets Best for a couple years now and have never had an issue with filing claims for my pup. The claims have actually started getting processed more quickly than in the past, the last one being 2 days, and they have always been efficient. They cover items as expected per my policy. It takes me hardly an effort to submit and claim and receive notification that it's been processed. The premium is also affordable and doesn’t increase significantly at each renewal, or at least it hasn’t by much yet. Hopefully it stays that way.

Pet Insurance
This past year, Metlife has really upped its game. We got reimbursements within 3 business days, unlike previous years, where it took them up to a month on some occasions. I took a star off since they are increasing their premiums by 150$/month to continue the same plan, but other than that, they've been extremely easy to deal with.

Everyone was really friendly, and I liked that the quote I had online was the same one finalized over the phone.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING THIS INSURANCE …
I was paying for 4 years the insurance for my pet Piera with policy # 1533639-03. I only made one claim sinve I started. 3 years later after being paid for a long time, my cat had an emergency, I took her to the vet, the clinic tested her and higher recommend to have a dental cleaning because she had many dental plaques , that was the first emergency visit and I was charged US 281.80. A week later I took her for her dental cleaning and I was charged for US 350.00 more. Then I called to Met-life and I asked to the agent if I needed to put 2 different claims, the answe was NO, "you don't need to, just put everything in a single claim. Like 90 days later the claim was completely denied. Then I called again and they sent me an appeal form that would take 90 days more to see if I had a case to claim part of the money. 90 days and monthly I pay almos 30 dollars plus the 90 days when my claim was denied? I DIDN'T HAVE THE RISK AGAIN. I feel that i was robbed for 4 years. do not think about getting this insurance. It is a complete fraud. RIcardo Munoz

First year renewal was a 60% increase in premium with no claims
Thankfully, I haven't had to submit a claim, however, my first renewal was certainly a surprise. 60% increase in premium. I wound up having to change coverages in order to keep the premium reasonable. I have 2 pets insured with them. Just be prepared for the honeymoon stage to end after the first year.

I have not had any issues so far with…
I have not had any issues so far with the claims process. It has been easy and straightforward, I think since I have been set up since 2019. It has gotten a bit more expensive since I first started but overall I am happy with my experience.

The agent (Joshua Sabado) I spoke with…
The agent (Joshua Sabado) I spoke with was very knowledgeable. He even saved me $4 dollars a month on my quote, he was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I think this was the best company to go with after doing my research.

If you’re thinking about choosing Embrace for your pet insurance, I would strongly recommend looking at other options first. I paid a high monthly premium expecting support when my dog needed medical care the most. When my dog was diagnosed with pneumonia, Embrace classified it as a pre-existing condition and denied my claim. After months of paying for insurance, I received no reimbursement for my dog’s treatment. What makes this even more disappointing is that my dog has now passed away, and instead of receiving the support I expected during such a difficult time, I’ve been dealing with the added stress of denied claims and ongoing reimbursement issues while grieving the loss of my beloved pet. Pet insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind during emergencies, but my experience has been the opposite. Paying high premiums only to have claims denied when they matter most has been incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Embrace.

Quick turn around for reimbursement
Quick turn around for reimbursement. EoB clearly explains what is and isn’t covered based on your chosen policy. Rates increase every year, sometimes with increased deductibles. I wish there was a price lock.
