Excellent coverage allows me to focus on getting the right care for Shiloh
Trupanion comes through once again!! My 9-year kitty started showing signs of liver problems. After initial blood tests and supplement treatments, my vet recommended an ultrasound. Having Trupanion insurance, I didn't have to hesitate to have the pricey test done. I filed my claim and Trupanion approved 90% coverage the next day. The ultrasound determined that she'll need to take two medications (likely for life) and have on-going monitoring of her liver health. Having this insurance means I can afford these tests and medication and focus on her quality of life (i.e., playtime and snuggles). Important to start coverage when they're young and healthy -- you may not have a claim for years, but as our pets age, like us, they need support and you'll be so grateful to have this coverage. Always professional. We feel "safe" when our dog is examined, knowing they will discover what is wrong with her. My only concern is the cost of taking her there, quite expensive. The road the hospital is on is very, very dangerous. They send a billing to Trupanion immediately which mediates the cost. In return, we receive the monies/check within two days. A 10+ place with superior service.

Recurring UTI, so lots of vet visits, lots of receipts. Take a photo with my phone, log into my account, send it, done! Easy peasy, and quick response every single time!

Wonderful coverage and customer service!
My vet submits the claim and I had the option of getting a check or having it deposited in my account. I had to do very little. As soon as the claim is submitted I get notified that it is under advisement. Then I get an email saying the procedure was covered or not.
