Embrace Is Great
Embrace makes pet insurance easy and affordable. Insuring my pet through Embrace was the best decision I ever made involving my beloved pets. I enrolled in Embrace before I even picked my pup up from the breeder; and I am so glad I did! At just one year old, my Laborador Retiever pup, Phoebe, severely injured her knee which required major orthopedic surgery. Days after her surgery, she was bit or stung and had a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction which required emergency veterinary care. I simply submitted the claims and invoices and, done! Customer service is top notch, professional, courteous, and prompt (by phone and e-mail; I’ve had positive experiences with both). If you don’t have insurance for your pet, get Embrace now! I would highly recommend Embrace to anyone with a pet. The peace of mind of knowing you can make the best decisions regarding your pet’s health, without worrying about unforeseen and astronomical costs, is priceless! Embrace’s coverage makes caring for your pet so much easier. My pup is a member of our family and Embrace will make you feel like a part of theirs.

Outstanding customer care
I phoned to inquire about maybe getting the insurance. The gentleman who helped me was SO pleasant to speak to, and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It was a very simple set up, and no exam required which a huge bonus as my cat has a poor medical history. The only downfall is that there’s a waiting period before the insurance kicks in, which is 30 days for illness, 5 days for injury. I don’t know if this is the case for most companies, or just Trupanion. Either way, it is still very worth it.

Terrible insurance-- do not use them!!
Pets Best made a very stressful time with a sick and dying cat 10 times worse. I will never use them again. I had to follow up on claims (of over $7,000 all said and done) a total of SIX different times. What I was told on the phone and what they showed on their online system/app were frequently two totally different things. The claims process is lackadaisical-- I had to send the same paperwork four different times because each time a new Pets Best representative would tell me they had never received it. 2.5 months after the initial claim was submitted, I STILL have not gotten resolution on any of the 6 claims submitted between then and now, including sadly having to put my cat down. And even then, after submitting final claims for euthanasia, I had to call AND email to have my policy cancelled due to her death. (At which point I was asked AGAIN about the paperwork that had been sent four times prior). Disorganized, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money. Look elsewhere!!

I can’t begin to express how the hotline put our minds at ease to know our dog would be okay after consuming coffee. Our dogs are our babies and we would be lost without them. The customer service was incredible and to receive an email checking in the next day made the experience even better. We love nationwide!
