They care about your pets as well as your well being
I was having a hard time getting all of my documentation from my veterinarian. I kept calling customer service every week to see if they got the paperwork yet and when they did not I would go into ANOTHER rant about my EX-VET and they were always so supportive and tried giving me advice on how to get what I needed and additional things I could try. I really appreciated their support and understanding as I went through those struggles. They never made me feel like I was taking up their time or holding them up even though they could not help me with anything. All they could give me was a sympathetic ear. Much appreciated and never forgotten. Thank you more than you will ever know.

Does what pet insurance is supposed to do
Have filed many claims for my canine non-human companion. Nationwide has always come thru without question. Timely payments and customer service has been helpful with any inquiry. I am not being compensated for this review.

Nationwide is really "on your side"
I've had pet insurance for many years for all my past dogs when they were known as VPI. My Harry T was 7 when I got him and developed several "old dog issues" in his golden years. Upon his passing in 2005, VPI reimbursed very well on that last week he was in doggie hospital, reimbursed the unused premium and then did something that still leaves me in awe; they sent me a sympathy card indicating a donation being made in Harry's name to one of their local animal shelters.

Very quick turn around for the Reimbursement
Nationwide was great during this process with my dog. It’s hard enough going through that so I’m really happy with the quickness is their communication as well as how easy it was to get the reimbursement rt to my account. I’m so thankful I have this insurance for my pet.
