Trupanion: Best Pet Insurance Company Bar None
At the suggestion of our vet, we picked up Trupanion insurance for our AKC German Shepherd (then) pup when he was 13 weeks old, at his first vet visit with us. He is now 3 1/2 years old and we are EXTREMELY thankful that our vet suggested Trupanion for him. He has had SO MANY tummy issues, Trupanion never questions procedures, medications, or tests. Instead, they promptly process claims, answer questions, and then deposit the claim payment directly into our bank account. No hassles whatsoever. We are so happy that we can focus on keeping Ranger on the regimen of meds that he needs to keep his sensitive tummy happy, never mind having coverage for pretty much any trouble he may get himself into! Thank you Trupanion!

Happy so far
Several years ago I had insured 3 dogs with another insurance company and was paying a lot every month. When one of the dogs began to limp with no visible reason I took him to the vet who also saw nothing visible so he too an x-ray. Because the x-ray also showed nothing, that insurance company denied the claim for the cost of the x-ray. So if a test turns out negative, you don't have to pay for it? Wish my human insurance worked like that. Needless to say I dropped that insurance and have done without for many years. Recently I decided to try again based on a recommendation from a friend. So glad that I did. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount received on a claim as I fully expected them to deny much of it. Will be sticking with them for a while.

Great experience
I’ve had Embrace for about three years without using it until my dog was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in March of 2018. It was very comforting to know my dog would be able to get the surgery she needed and it would be covered. Embrace has been great and covered all of my claims quickly.

Caveat Emptor
I have a new puppy under 5 months. He hurt his leg, I take him to the vet and file a claim. DENIED!! They say it's a pre-exsisting injury. What!! Stay Away!! They do not pay claims.

Excellent Service
I am so glad I got Embrace for my two dogs, Sochi and Kimi. They have been covered since birth and are now 4 years old. Embrace makes submitting claims a breeze and their response time is amazing. I’ve only had to call a few times, but each time, they made me feel like my dogs were the most important thing. I have been so happy with my coverage and have recommended them to everyone I know that has pet babies.

Healthy Paws makes healthy dogs easy!
Over the course of the last year and a half we have had many issues with one of our dogs, RJ, a big loveable golden retriever. We spend half of the year in the US and the other half in Spain and during all the travel, climate changes, allergy triggers and countless other things, RJ was not fully healthy. We saw multiple vets in both countries, as well as a couple specialists. After many medication trials and diet changes, we finally have RJ's health under control. What would have been totally out of control bills for all the testing/office visits/medications/food changes was the easiest experience using Healthy Paws. We simply upload the invoices, type in a few details and a check shows up in the mail shortly after. I can not express the piece of mind this gave us, seeing the invoices coming in, knowing we were covered. I truly would never have a pet without Healthy Paws. They went out of the way to email me and check on our dogs health out of genuine concern for the pets and us the owners. I would recommend this company to anyone, for piece of mind and comfort knowing you'll never have to decide between treating your best friends due to cost.

Pleasantly surprised
My Great Dane had emergency surgery in the middle of March. Not only was I scared for him, but also the huge medical bills. Will I have trouble getting reimbursed from insurance? My check arrived before my credit card bill, so all is good with my Great Dane, as well as my financials. I would suggest Nationwide to everyone. It’s an outstanding peace of mind.
