Good coverage.
After a great amount of expense with my Aussie/Lab when he broke his leg and then later had it amputated I wish I had coverage for him. Now with Duke and Duchess I started coverage when I adopted them at age 2 (Duke) and 1 1/2 (Duchess (border collie). A number of treatments and medicines are covered under their policies which helps the expenses we have and knowing that if they are sick they will have come coverage. I do feel it is quite expense and certain things are not covered.

Going well
I love having this insurance! However why an 8 instead of 10: 1 - when I called to enroll I was told food and supplement if prescribed would be covered and they're not. VERY disappointing! 2 - no lock in rate. So as Branson ages and needs more care I will probably not be able to afford his insurance.

Claim Paid
Nationwide reviewed our claim (within a month - although it was closer to the 30 day mark) and paid it without any back and forth or question. Our 8 month old Golden Doodle swallowed a pair of underwear (without our knowledge) that proceeded to get stuck in his small intestine. when he vomited about 15 times within a 10 hour time span, we knew something was wrong. The vet required same day surgery and Nationwide saved the day be completely covering our claim (everything was paid for, even the cone and overnight stay with the exception of the special diet). Thank you!

Prompt, courteous, easy to use!
Customer service is very helpful. Very prompt claim process. Love that claims can be submitted online and you can also receive your claim check through text, makes it all so easy. I have has pet insurance with Nationwide since it was VPI and the service has always been great. Pet medical care can be so expensive, having pet insurance helps lessen the burden that some of the medical bills place on owners, especially if you have more than one pet.

Coverage with Nationwide is good. My reimbursements are accurate. My only complaint: checks are slow in coming. Turn around should be faster.

Always there for me.
Nationwide has been nothing but a huge help when it comes to my cat, Mozzie. When first getting the insurance, I was assuming that I wouldn’t use it and after the 1 year was over I’d cancel. But little did I know that Mozzie would have a chronic oral issue from a very young age. From the beginning Nationwide has been there to help me with the costs of all of Mozzie’s treatments. I now know that I will never have to worry about the quality of care I am able to provide my pet because I know Nationwide will be there for me and Mozzie, and if any questions come up, they are there to help!

Worth the price!
Well worth the money. Got the regular insurance and some routine coverage. Already made back my monthly amount and then some. Well worth the cost. Get this early in ur dog’s life so you can use the routine coverage for shots and things :)
