Extremely Pleased
After reviewing several pet health insurance plans we decided to go with Nationwide and we are extremely pleased. Unfortunately, we have had to use the Vet Help Line, Major Medical, and Pet Wellness Options even though our male boxer is only 11 months old! Nationwide has always went above and beyond with their customer service, taking as much time as needed to explain what is covered through our policy. The payments are very easy, especially with the electronic payment options. We have not experienced anything negative with Nationwide through the numerous claims that we have filed.

Wonderful customer service!
To file a claim is so easy and speedy reimbursement received. The emergency clinic wrote the wrong account number when submitting my claim, but it was quickly corrected and taken care of, and processed. Great customer service, very friendly and helpful. Thank you

Claims could be quicker
The claims process could be faster in receiving the funds back as this may be funds needed for other bills living wise but were used for the pet because it was an emergency. So getting the funds back from the claim quicker is very important. Especially when the itemized bill is sent showing the breakdown.

I came back to Nationwide
Tried a competitor, who claimed to have the most comprehensive coverage available: sure, until the fine print. Here I find I get what I understand am I to get when reimbursed; With quality service and friendly agents.

Fast and efficient
I requested the vet to send my pet’s information over just for Trupanion to have on file. I wasn’t even thinking about a claim being submitted. Two days later, I received an email stating that my claim had been processed. It was by far the easiest insurance claim I have ever submitted.

Easy to use, slow to reimburse
The app is easy to use and very straightforward, but read the fine print in your policy! When my policy renews each year Nationwide lists everything we’ve ever submitted a claim for EVER as a non-covered condition. You have to go through their review process to have this changed, which in our case took six months. We were eventually reimbursed but the wait was ridiculous.

BEST coverage and support for your furbaby
Healthypaws has done it again! They provide awesome coverage and incredible customer service... I recommend them to everyone!!! In 2016, my dog had spine surgery, and what do ya know... not even two years later, he injured another part of his cervical spine- and with my plan, I had 90% coverage (so there was no second thought at getting my pup fixed) and the claim was processed and my expenses we reimbursed the following week! They also checked in on Harley post op and sent their well wishes... it means a lot! Without them, Harley would not be standing on his own, let alone walking (it melts my heart to see him happy and painfree again!)

Geez.... I laughed at my kids years ago when they talked about pet insurance. I am a firm believer now because of Nationwide. Not just the amazing coverage but the overall concern and caring. They are like family.
