Nationwide has been very efficient and prompt with claim reviews. The vetline is a great bonus to relieve new pet owners anxiety

Love ASPCA Insurance!
I have 3 dogs and 1 cat insured with ASPCA and they have been wonderful with all of them! They process claims fast and fairly and call to check up on my furbabies afterwards. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance!

Always there when you need them
We have had pet insurance for a long time. Some years it doesn’t pay itself back but I never want to have a huge vet bill that I can’t afford. With VPI you know you’ll get something back. With our dogs always getting into things and being allowed to run around the desert, you never know what’s going to happen. Recently, we found a small tumor on Pips underbelly. Doc removed it and sent for testing. VPI reimbursed us over $800 dollars and all but $50 of the total bill. This has happened before on another big claim. We are grateful for coverage and a company that actually holds true to its side of the insurance bargain.

Exactly As Advertised What More Can You Want
This is the second claim I submitted, electronically, to Pets Best. On each occasion we received reimbursement for the stated amount the next day! We had 24/7 and it took over 3 months to settle one claim. This is clearly the best pet insurance company.

Too long to process
Although, overall I am very pleased with the policies for my two young cats the amount of time to process a claim is unacceptable. I filed a claim for $445.00 on 9/14/2018. Today is 10/17/2018. The claim has still not been processed. All required paperwork including medical records and invoice were submitted following one of my cats dislocating vertebrae in his tail. I will still recommend ASPCA, but only if a person doesn’t mind ridiculously long processing times.

Wow! Great company!
I would recommend this company to anyone with a pet. We took our rescue dog, Trooper, in for a routine cleaning and some repair on a couple of chipped teeth. During the consult, the doggie dentist found a fractured molar that must have been a result of an accident before we adopted him. The bill was over $1500. I wasn't going to submit it to Pet's Best, because we didn't sign up for dental. But guess what!! They paid for the removal of the fractured molar plus his meds!! They reimbursed us for over half of the bill. I can't tell you how pleased I am!!

Great, just a little slow
I have submitted a few claims for my cat Lexi, and Nationwide has been great to work with. Paid as promised, great service. Only complaint is it takes weeks to get the reimbursement.

Don’t hold your breathe waiting to get reimbursed...takes forever
Once you go to the vet, and submit your claim...prepare to grow old waiting... typical insurance company quick to collect it takes forever to reimburse. I have to call customer service to ask him why is it taking so long and I keep getting the ticket take up to 30 days to get reimbursement fecal matter story. I’ve already in electronic payments, so once Godot finally shows, I can get paid. The customer does not want to hear that you have a large volume of claims and you’re doing your best to work through them. Would the Insurance company want to hear I’m trying to make your payment and I’m doing my best to process it through my systems, but each monthly payment could take up to 30 days to process. Oh wait they grab your financial information when you signed up so they take it out no matter what!!! It’s nice to take but it be nice to receive!

It worked out
It takes the exact 30 days, but the check came through. I filed a claim with the full invoice from my vet and was able to get most of the surgery for Margot covered. The issue I had was a standard case of my cat eating something she wasn’t supposed to which got stuck in her tummy and needed to be removed surgically. I love my cat but wow it hurt my wallet to get the surgery done. Thankfully it ended up being fully covered minus the deductible. Turned out to be worth it
