Fantastic, speedy claims process
Fantastic, speedy claims processing. It was our first visit to the Vet as a new puppy, and Pets Best helped cover a lot of our wellness fees, much easier than human health insurance to work with. Tucker (and his mom) are appreciative.

Extremely easy to submit a claim
Extremely easy to submit a claim and was pay much faster than expected. Never thought I was going to ever have the need for pet insurance. Luckily I had trupanion and it made paying for the life saving emergency surgery on my dog less of a burden.

Lack in clarity
I feel like the information about what is and is not covered is not so easy to find and left me with a big a hole of coverage that I thought my pet was covered for (therapeutic/holistic coverage). If I had known this I would have definitely opted for an additional rider and coverage years ago -- looking at my policy record it seems I'm a pretty great customer in the terms that I have paid always on time for the 8 years my pet has been enrolled. Crunching the numbers, Trupanion has loads more that I've paid in than I've claimed back. I'm feeling definitely lukewarm to cold about coverage and the clarity in what is and is not covered.

Lifetime per condition deductible
Knowing my animals would get care that I might not be able to afford is a great comfort to my wife and I. it's not a 10 only because of having a deductible for each occurrence of a specific type doesn't seem fair. Humans have an accumulative annual deductible for all conditions so why shouldn't animals. I understand each animal should have their own, but not per condition. The positive of this is that it is lifetime per condition.

Pets Best has always been very efficient with claims
Pets Best has always been very efficient about processing claims. We've been insuring our pets for 10 years with them and they have always been there for us, letting us make, what would be, hard financial decisions with ease. It's wonderful to be able to obtain exceptional veterinary care for our furry family members with out cleaning out our savings.
