I have been happy
I have been happy with the coverage in the past but this year the premiums have gone up approximately 20% for both cats bringing it up to $102/month. This has resulted in me cancelling one of the coverages and I may increase the deductible with the other cat in the following month. Financial hardship is not the issue. I just think its getting expensive considering there have been very few claims. One of my friends stated its more than what she pays for medical premiums for herself. That is the main reason for my middle-of-the road recommendation above.

Significant annual increases in monthly premium
Significant annual increases in monthly premium, far-reaching excuses for denial of coverage on certain things, and extensive waiting periods of claim reviews makes it unlikely I will recommend trupanion to anyone.

Best in the business
The claims process and the payout process are the best in the business. I find the things that are/aren't covered a little frustrating, but overall, we love our insurance. I found that not covering his tooth extraction was quite frustrating as it happened on the 14th day of his insurance being active. But mostly, thank you for helping us find a manageable way to help keep our favorite family member safe and healthy.

PetsBest is great
PetsBest has been great to work with. The claims (3 during the past 3months) were easy to file , paid promptly, and with an easy to understand EOB (explanation of benefits). I worked with another highly rated insurance company of few years ago with a different pet. I will just say that it was not a pleasant experience. I will always insure my pets with PetsBest due to the way this company handles claim. Very reliable, honest company.
