I was very disappointed by Petsbest. They have so far denied the claim and I am in the appeal process. My dog had an accident causing a significant injury. Petsbest and their veterinarians are arguing this is a illness with significant lack of evidence to prove so. The appeal process has been very frustrating as they have shown poor communication. Specifically, they did not send out the decision for the most recent appeal. I would not recommend Petsbest.

Healthy Paws allowed us to make humane and life saving decisions for our pet
Seriously has saved my dog's life 4x. I got insurance at 6 mo. old because my puppy was an eat 'em up type baby dog. I was concerned we would end with a ball in the belly and have $$$ in surgery someday. As it happened my dog was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease at 11 mo. and has unfortunately been prone to various maladies. Having Healthy Paws insurance with their generous coverage, easy & quick claim turn around and kind customer service has allowed us to make humane and life saving decisions for our dog. She is a bit of a lemon at times but she is happy and healthy right now squeaking her toy a bit too much as I write this. And, I know this is a glowing review that may seem untrue or over the top but truly my dog has been hospitalized over 5x at veterinary specialist in her 5 1/2 years and we couldn't give her that care without Healthy Paws.

Can't recommend enough
Thank you so much for helping our puppy recovery from an emergency surgery on his knee. Without this surgery, his leg would not grow to proper length and he would not be able to use it. Filling a claim was so easy and we received reimbursement quickly. We can't recommend Pets Best enough!!!

What you see is what you get with Trupanion. I have found that the company's policy parameters and coverages are clearly stated upfront, and I have had no surprises with the claims I have filed. The claim filing process is easy and intuitive, and Trupanion has consistently responded quickly, efficiently, thoroughly, and with the care and empathy you would hope to expect from an insurance company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I decided to get pet insurance for my second pug after I had spent so much on my first pug without insurance. I chose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance because of their flexible premium and deductible packages. Their coverage is excellent covering almost anything. The terms of coverage are very clear and if you don't understand something they have very helpful people you can talk to. I've already made several claims. The most recent claim was for airway surgery on my pug. They covered the entire surgery and hospitalization. I just had to pay my deductible. Having this insurance allowed me to make the decision to get the surgery for my pug. Submitting a claim is super easy. You can submit the paperwork online or they have an app and you just snap a photo. It only took about a week to get my reimbursement from the time I submitted my claim. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for your pet insurance.

I am so glad I found Trupanion! Our sweet 4 yr old chocolate lab has had to have surgery on both of her knees within 6 months of each other. Over $12000.00 altogether. I submitted the claims and had no hassle whatsoever from Trupanion. They paid quickly and the process was so easy. Thank you Trupanion!!

Never have any issues
Never have any issues with any claim submissions because Pets Best always explains in detail on an EOB reason for claim $ amount & member $ responsibility. Too bad people medical insurance was this easy.
