My boy wouldn’t be alive without Nationwide
We had had insurance on my pup for a few years and only within the past year did we actually have to utilize it. He is my first dog and he is my everything so when he got a cancerous tumor and subsequent tumors, I wanted to do everything I could to get him the best treatment possible. Having nationwide allowed me to do that! I was able to do what I could to treat him instead of just giving up on him because of cost. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t enrolled him. Thank you for your timeliness in filing my claims, your compassion in answering my questions...I know I had a lot of them!...and for allowing me to get the best possible care for my boy, you’ve literally saved his life for me!

nationwide is NOT on our side and looks for ways to avoid payments.
Our dog needed medical tests to determine the problem. When nationwide decided the care was not covered because they claimed the breed sometimes gets the condition, they not only didn't pay for the procedure but also would not even pay for the tests. Medical experts suggested the tests could have had different outcomes.

My little 2 lb Yorkie fell and broke his elbow. My Vet had to refer me to Birmingham to a specialist. We had to travel over a hundred miles four times. His leg is as good as new now. Nationwide took care of the bills and we are so greatful to have NW. I have five Yorkies, and have health insurance on all five. Two of my Yorkies are rescues. Thanks Nationwide Pet Insurance. I've been with you for years and you always come through for my babies.

You've been a big help!
I am so glad I made the decision to get pet insurance for my dog. I've, unfortunately, had to submit alot of claims due to issues he developed or illnesses, dog bites, that have happened to him. The insurance has definitely come in handy. My only complaint, and not really a complaint, is that it takes so long to get reimbursed. But I can only imagine how many claims you must have to deal with.

Insurance as it should be
I've submitted several claims for my dog over the past two years of his life and I have not once has an eyelash batted at a claim. I submit it through the app, get confirmation that they're looking at it and the response is way under 30 days and the coverage is what my plan says. I highly recommend this company especially after hearing so many horror stories from friends that have other insurances.

Lifesaver
Our decision to rush our pet to the Emergency in the middle of the night was truly a lifesaver for our pet having not to worry about the finances at a time when we could not afford that option. Because we have Nationwide covering our backs, we would not have thought otherwise and it turned out to be a lifesaver for our beloved family member.
