I’ve submitted a few claims for my dog Hilo. Each claim, whether for wellness check, foxtail in nose, or visit to emergency vet for gastroenteritis, was handled quickly and efficiently. My plan has a yearly deductible. You pick the coverage and cost that meets your needs.

Trupanion has been amazing with helping me and my dog Archer for his whole life. He unfortunately was diagnosed with very bad skin allergies around 1 year of age and has required many medications long term, specialty diagnostics (allergy testing with immunotherapy) since then. Trupanion always is very quick at reimbursing me for the covered costs and really gives me piece of mind that I can do everything recommended for my boy. He recently was diagnosed with a heart murmur and needs a cardiac work up too and I know that no matter what he ends up needing, Trupanion will help us pay for it down the line. Thank you so much

Good pet insurer but challenging if your pet has a chronic problem
For most things they are great. I have a dog with herniated discs. She requires acupuncture every other week. After 8 visits this insurance won’t pay, so I end up paying for 14 weeks x 105.00 or $1,470 a year.

A must have!
Insurance is a must have for any pet parent. They are family and you'll do everything for them and having Nationwide on your side means you have less worry about bills. While Nationwide has a lot of restriction on each medical condition but a small part of them helping with the bill is still useful. I have been asked many times to switch to other insurance companies but I have been with Nationwide for 5 years and they have my back when I need them.

Amazing and Affordable
I've had Embrace coverage for my pooch for several years. She's been healthy, until she tore a tendon in her shoulder. I've never been so thankful to have a safety net to help with the expense for months of treatment and rehab. The premium has remained competitive, claims are easy and paid quickly.

Nationwide really is on my side
My little boy, Spartacus is a long hair dachshund and unfortunately needed back surgery. Nationwide was there. He also has allergies and had a bad infection, and again Nationwide was there. I’m really glad we have Nationwide covering Spartacus and hope that he doesn’t have anymore surprise vet visits, but if he does Nationwide will be there

Kind understanding, fast claim refunds.
Nationwide is the most kind and compassionate company. I had another dog Nozzie and they were very understanding and walked me thru all of her final issues when she passed. Doobie has cancer and you have been great especially with getting my claims processed. I will adopt another dog when Doobie passes because I know that is what he would want but for now he is doing good and that's all I can hope for.
