Best Pet Insurance - Paws down!
Nationwide offers the only pet insurance (major medical & wellness) with one combined and affordable price. Claims are easy to file and turn around time before you receive the reimbursement is only a couple of weeks. Sometimes less. If I had to say only one thing they could improve on is allow for more reimbursements for flea/tick and heartworm meds. You have to give those to your pet every month in most cases. Not just a couple of times a year, but they have a limit to how many times they will reimburse for this treatment.

So easy to submit claims on the app, and customer service is the best. My friend has pet insurance from another company and he has so much stress submitting claims and they take forever to process. I have the whole pet with wellness plan (so great and still really affordable compared to other companies for what you get, even though my dog is 9). I never ever worry if she needs to make a trip to the vet. I wish I had gotten pet insurance sooner. Don’t wait! Nationwide really cares and I feel like we’re in good hands.

After a sudden illness with my pet, I filed a claim and the process was simple, I was kept up to date on the status and payment was quick. I was also touched by the email check back on how she was doing. Brought a smile to my face given she is much better now. I am very pleased with the coverage and service.

Very responsive
I was referred to Trupanion by my veterinarian who insured his pets with them. They are extremely quick once a claim is filed and coverage is good. My only complaint would be that the rate went up over 30% after the first year. Customer service explained that it was not due to age or claims, but because of current cost pricing of all vets in my area. They have to justify increases through the insurance commission for approval like all insurance companies. Yes, I would recommend this company.

Quick and easy process
The streamlined process for multiple ongoing claims submissions for covered conditions is awesome. Along with the lifetime deductible, per condition, which I understand is not always the case with all insurance policies.
